The UNAM (University of Namibia) Choir has been wowing audiences around the world, from heads of states at official gatherings to the crowds that attend their performances in music halls and theatres for the past twenty years!
Under their adept, skilful and talented leader Mr Bonnie Pereko, whether in Scotland, Germany, the United States, France or at home, these talented and enthusiastic university students have been bringing audiences to their feet and inspiring crowds to break into dance!
The UNAM choir posessess an extraordinary blend of voices and movement. They are proud to present themselves as an innovative, vibrant and contemporary troupe of young singers, who have tackled the challenge of defining a modern Namibian mode of choral expression.

I am watching from Nigeria. They are amazing, wow, wow. I cannot stop watching them. I love you guys.
I am a neighbor of Namibia currently in the USA. If I dont see any changes in one of two of my countries of origin that border Namibia. I will be obliged to apply for Namibian residence/ Citizenship. That or go to my father's ancestral home in Lesotho. At least I can have a peaceful home in Africa. There is hope for me still.
Oh how I enjoyed this presentation in 2021. Shouting Praises from Jamaica, the ROCK in the Caribbean?
I am 73 but anytime I listen to any music from South Africa, I become too emotional. Their voices are angelic. Oh my God. May this choir and all other choirs receive the blessings of BAWA. I have to stop because tears are welling up in my eyes. BRAVO

I almost fell in love with this African Masterpiece. It heals me From loss incured. It reminds me back at HighSchool days. Church choir in a private property. We perform fridays evenings, keep it up!!!👓🎊🎊🎊👏
It gives me joy to see people collectively showing God how much they love and appreciate his hard work not only creating the Universe and convincing its subjects that he exists, but encouraging people to praise his awesomeness,.

@@ladyvrega2670 My comment was to draw you to the fact that before the invasion of Africa from Europe they were one people and one culture. It is painfully sad when Africans give too much credence to the Artificial boundaries created by Europe in their perpetual war against Africa.( Berlin conference 1887)They are one people they have similar cultures. They are cousins across the rivers. If you know this you, will not say they are singing South African songs . They are singing the songs of Azania. The name South Africa is a Point of direction. Is there any country called Southern Europe ?

I CAME ACROSS THIS & I TRULY ENJOYED THIS.
I am from England. I visited UNAM in 1999 and 2000. Some students organised a song in an impromptu choir at one point. I always tried to remember how it went to be able to find it after returning to England. I'd more or less given up and then came across this video. Sure enough 55:54!!! Yassss! I found you 20 years later! Beautiful performance, thanks!

One of the most disciplined, spontaneous, coordinated, talented, organized and inspirational performances I have sat through.....What an inspirational treat!! I was part of a choir....over a thousand voices with orchestration....precious memories, and relived every moment with this rich presentation. Even though I didn’t understand one word, I didn’t need words.....What a Conductor!! Bravo...excellent presentation!! Continued Blessings!!
I have replayed this video a thousand times and I don't seem to have enough of it. I adore the nicely blended melodic voices, the dance moves, the diverse range of cultures, This is phenomenal! I wish I could tour this country and sample these cultural melodies.
I appreciate the choir director to be able to cope with many singers. May the Lord see them through .
