Yesterday maidened the WACO. I think it’s actual the best flying UMX Bird. No bad tendencies, on 3s he goes straight to the moon, aerobatic, scale slow and easy to fly. A blast in the air! Flighttime with a 3s350mah Lipo was easy 6min. Regards from Germany.

This plane is tough and beautiful, It kissed a baseball field light head on. The nose broke off, no other damage. A little glue and she is good as new…Now to get some new glasses.😃

Thanks for the video! I sold my blue and white one at a swap meet this fall. The new red and white one has arrived, but I can't fly it until after my birthday next February. BTW Waco stands for "Weaver Aircraft Company". I think this YMF-5 is the most graceful looking plane they ever built.

This is the best video I've seen with this plane! Thanks for flying it slow and sexy! The other guys are trying to do 3D aerobatics with it! I just received mine, but haven't had a chance to fly it yet because we're having a snow storm.

Great work Gentlemen, from down under Australia. Love the channel and your enthusiasm. Dont worry about the timer. Use the telemetry alarm built in. Just set it to 3.6v alarm and you cant go wrong. Never need to worry about timers again!

Salute, for a great landing and great filming! The UmX's have telemetry, too. So, you can check voltage on you beautiful Spektrum transmitter. I inhibit my "smart battery" alarm and set the "smart esc" voltage alarm to 3.5/ cell. That way when it chirps for low voltage, I've got time to land. But it's not chirping the entire flight. So awesome to see you guys at the runway! I've missed these videos so much! Merry Christmas 👍

I completely agree with you, Robert. This is the *most beautiful* UMX plane that E-flite has made. The original is great in white and blue, but adding the yellow and black colour scheme *transforms* this lovely little bird. Really enjoyed this video, boys 🥰

@@PetrincicBrosRC yes brother. Ive got the pitts and the yellow waco. Ive crashed my pitts 1 few times. Last got stuck in trees, and scratched , but i filled and resprayed it a bit. Not pretty anymore, but it still flies. I made 2x plastic strut templates, and stuck to the original. It’s holding up. It’s a beauty…

Hi guys. Welcome back! It's pronounced Wah-co, because WACO stands for Weaver Aircraft Co. of Ohio. According to Wikipedia: WACO (referring to the aircraft) is usually pronounced "wah-co"[1] (the first syllable pronounced as in "water"), not "way-co" like Waco, Texas, whose name is entirely unrelated.

It was such beautiful Sunday evening.

Great video, but why do you use the timer to determine when the flight is over? That plane with that battery gives you the instantaneous voltage and expended current telemetry. You could set voltage and remaing battery capacity alarms to indicate when you should land. My waco arrived today, and I am looking forward to the maiden.
