UMRAH SUSPENDED! What about Hajj? | Coronavirus & Hajj 2020

With the recent outbreak of the Coronavirus, Saudi Arabia made steps to protect the pilgrims and introduced a temporary suspension on Umrah. No foreigners, GCC nationals or Saudi citizens outside of Makkah were allowed to visit to conduct Umrah.
What does this mean for Hajj?
We asked the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for an answer.

crypton hub2020 Bro don’t be stupid and apply your own opinion to Islam. Islam is Quran and sunnah. We don’t make rules and say this is islam. Hajj will still happen. But not for the world. It’s understandable.

If this continues, of course Hajj will be cancelled for everyone outside the Kingdom. Islam came to protect human life first and foremost. This is something I guarantee the Ulama are already discussing.

Taiyab Raja of course. To make hajj continue for millions which will maybe spread the virus is silly. Alhamdulillah for everything. Allah swt doesn’t need us. We need Allah swt. We can pray at home. All my local mosques are closed. No jummah. No prayed at mosques. But maybe this is the best time for some people to pray without excuse.

Isn't the stopping of Hajj a sign that the end is near? I'm not saying we can control when it'll end, Allah can do that, but if we want hajj to not stop just regulate the people coming in. Just choose a few people through

Instead of closing down umrah and hajj, they should be looking at restoring the islamic caliphate. Instead of pandering to western countries and selling out islam. Like really we need space pods in mina? What a joke!! I remember walking past several tents in mina that had gold plated sofas and other ridiculous luxury meanwhile other other camps barely had any food or water. Where is the justice? Spend that money on making the bathrooms more clean and modern, having regular and timely transportation network in and around the haram. Also making hajj more affordable to more muslims, £6000-7000 on average is absolutely disgusting!! You should be doing a lot more to help bring down the costs. Most agents pocket between £1000-2000 per person. why isnt anyone talking about this??

Hajj was lavish in the days of the Ottoman Caliphate as well. Hujjaj.co is set up to create competition in the market which will bring the prices of Hajj down, inshaaAllah.
