Come to umkhoi canyon truely it will blow your mind cz there's a lake on the top of the cliff and also a jaw dropping waterfall called shumshum waterfall.. location: umkhoi, mawkynrew..way to nongjrong viewpoint.

It is a fragile eco system which is so clean and beautiful. It must be protected by the government by strict laws. I am from Jharkhand. In my place there is no such river. All the rivers are dirty due to poor pollution control and selfish mentality of local people

Meghalaya is one of the cleanest places in the country, but this water is not so clean because of less pollution, there are a lot of rivers with no pollution in mountains, but the water in the river flows through permeable limestone formations, which filter the river water from any suspended solids, hence the beautifully clean and transparent water
