I am Turkish and understand everything that Ummet Özcan sings (he sings about ancient deities from Turkic mythology in a very ancient Turkish dialect). I also understand some words that Otyken members sing, such as “dağlar” (mountains), even though both tribes have become geographically distant from each other over thousands of years.Their languages, which have the same origin, have also developed independently of one another. The Turkish Bağlama/Saz is similar to the ikili but has 6 - 7 strings. The way Özcan sings is called throat singing and is a traditional way of singing among the Turkic and Mongolian peoples. Tengri was the main god of the Turkic pantheon who controlled the Celestial sphere. *Kayra or Kaira = Supreme God of the Universe *Adaghan = Mountain God. *Ülgen or Ulgen = God of goodness. Kayra's son. *Mergen = God of wisdom. Kayra's son. *Kyzaghan/Kızagan = God of war of the *Umay = Goddess of fertility. She is also the goddess of virginity and therefore relates to women, mothers and children. *Kuara = God of Thunder *Kubai/Kübey = Goddess of birth and children. It protects women who give birth. She gives soul to children. *Koyash/Kuyaş = Sun God. Koyash is the son of Sky Tengri and the Earth Goddess. *Ak Ana = (Ak means White) Goddess of Creation. She is the primitive creator-goddess of the Turkish people. She is known as the goddess of water. *Ay Ata = God of the Moon. Gun Ana/Gün Ana = Goddess of the Sun. *Yel Ana = Goddess of Wind *Yer Ata = God of Earth ...

@@Canaldoramieh If you are interested in old traditional instruments I would really recommend you to watch some videos about the traditional Turkish instrument Saz or Bağlama (the difference is in the size otherwise it is the same instrument). The best would be performances by the Saz grandmaster Orhan Gencebay, who is also a musical genius. He has composed countless songs with his saz and is considered one of the best saz players. There is a film by the multiple international award-winning director Fatih Akın about the Turkish music scene "Crossing the Bridge". I would recommend a part of this film where Orhan Gencebay shows a sample of his skills. You can search it with the text "Orhan Gencebay - Hatasız Kul Olmaz (Canlı Performans)". ​​@@balporsugu7046 There are 2 instruments with 2 strings called ikili. One is Dombra - Dutar, and the other one which is like a Violine is Kılkopuz, it strings were made from horse tail. But Ozcan used the Dombra here (which is similar to saz) or was there also a Kılkopuz? If yes, I missed that

Чулымцы и индейцы - это разные национальности, также как якуты и буряты, ханты и чукчи... -это всё разные национальности, и нигде не принято их называть индейцами. Кстати, чуть не забыл: OTYKEN - это не группа девушек, в составе несколько мужчин. Название "OTYKEN", переводится на русский язык как "священное место"...

They live in Siberia now in Russia but these native people are Khakhass Turks originally and yet they are Russian on the papers ;) Maybe you heard about the theory which says native Americans came from Siberia to America and the first nation from Africa to Asia and then Europe ;)

Домбра (Думбра, Домбыра, Думбыра) - это тюркский инструмент, в разных тюркских языках может произноситься с небольшим отличием. Это инструмент татар, башкир, ногайцев, казахов и т.д. У якутов называется "тансыр", у турков "саз", у персов и таджиков аналог - "дутар".

Если брать Русско-турецкие войны то турецкими были когда то Крым, Херсонская обл Николаевская, Одесская, Черновицкая,Донецкая Луганская,Краснодарский край, Ставропольский, Грузия,Армения, Болгария Греция Сербия Герцеговина, Македония, Албания и все это Османская империя потеряла в результатае Русско-турецких войн а так же Молдавия,Валлахия и насчет Константинополя так 1877 году русские войска уже подходили к нему и взяли бы если не предательство Австро-венгерского императора который отплатил подлость за свое спасение русским в 1848году

A criatividade deste grupo carrega em si as tradições culturais de muitos povos antigos. Chulyms, Dolgans, Khakass, Kets, Selkups. Nem todos falam turco - por exemplo, os Kets e Selkups são provavelmente os ancestrais de povos tão diferentes e distantes dos turcos como os húngaros, finlandeses, Ainu e Navajos. Os Chulyms, os mais representados no grupo, são o resultado da assimilação dos Kets pelas tribos de língua turca durante o século VI AC - século XVI DC “Altai”, parece-me, é a música mais “turca” de Otyken. Talvez o convite de Ummet Ozcan (sua voz é impressionante), um turco nativo que vive na Holanda, tenha tido impacto. Em outras canções podem-se ver ecos de motivos culturais "japoneses" ou "norte-americanos". Além disso, sua música está repleta de influências e citações "internacionais" modernas. E está repleto de sons da natureza... pode-se até dizer que o homem nas suas canções é inseparável da natureza, faz parte dela. Isto torna o trabalho do grupo muito rico e desprovido de ligações demasiado óbvias com as realidades étnico-nacionais modernas. Você pode usar música Otyken para meditação/transe e dançar ao mesmo tempo. Exatamente como fazem os xamãs siberianos. Minha música favorita é “Fenômeno”.
