Fun fact: the number on the missing child poster (112) is the emergency number in the European Union, which means this game is in Europe. Also, the station at 3:03 is the name of a bus station in Sweden. So Sweden is my best guess as in where this game takes place Edit: ok we are definitely in Sweden. The sign at 6:01 is Swedish for “don’t feed the birds”, like Misfortune translated for us Edit #2: the park at 12:34 (Folkets park) is a real park in Molmö, Sweden, so we’re likely there Edit #3: earlier in the game, Misfortune tells us that it was illegal for the mother to have an abortion. In Sweden, abortions were illegal up until 1975. Since we know Misfortune is 8 years old, we know the game was set at least before the year 1983. Edit #4: the missing children's posters are printed in black and white, which may indicate that coloured printers didn't exist. The first coloured printer was invented in 1976, so the story is probably set before that date

Wow! You really spent time and effort on this comment. Good job! I'm impressed. However, I am curious as to what makes you think it's Malmö. As far as I know almost every little town in Sweden used to have a folkets park. They were built by the working class for entertainment and had regular dances and concerts. So why is it Malmö? Not trying to be rude, just genuinely curious. Also at 27:40 you can see the newspaper is from 1993.

I just realised that before the whole end part that the pet cemetery note by Benjamin couldn’t have been his because from the posters he was putting up he couldn’t spell as he wrote things like “cihldren” and “hide” with the ‘e’ backwards soo it was the narrator..not surprised ☠️

quite sure she laughs a lot nervously, it's not that she's fine, but her mother said she can't be sad

Foxes are symbol of traveller between worlds in chamanist practices so Benjamin being the traveller makes total sense in this story. Also the japanase kid said something like "where am I?" "Where are we?" in the sense that he is lost in the fog (he is dead). I really like those kind of easter eggs and symbolic meanings

Misfortune is just wild man 😭 I am curious to see what other magic stones have to say. I'm sure it's a warning or lore about the "shadows". I wonder what's going to happen when find that key to the cage 😅

I think the narrator want Misfortune to release the wolf so that people would assume that the children went missing is because of the loose wolf And i know it's probably not a big part of the game, but i noticed in most of the missing kid posters, that the bottom left corner of the paper are teared

They say whatever passes through their mind, they're honest. Maybe it's a way to show how isolated Misfortune feels seeing all these sad adults who still act like they're okay when they're not 😅

It makes me laugh. :3 (I am JOKING, I refuse to touch any form of glitter with a 9-foot pole, but I do sometimes laugh at other people's frustrations cleaning up the STD of the art world.)

Remember the letter that was in the box? Benjamin of Johnny can’t write like that. Because when he writes sometimes he turns the letters and that letter in that box was perfectly written. I think the voice did that because he can spawn a shovel too. Also I think the voice needs Benjamin for something and that’s why he needs her or something? Please like this so she can read my comment also your video are 👌 I’m new but your amazing! ❤

The letter was too clean but I had my suspicion that Benjamin didn't write it either. I'm sure narrator is trying to either kill Benjamin or have Benjamin open something for us. But I'm glad to hear that you enjoy my content 🥰❤️

Notice when mr voice is about to get caught he gets really upset? Like when she was reading the posters saying “hide your children”… He acts the same about Benjamin and the duck. I think he knows they could help her if they knew what was going on.

this game is very smart at giving you small clues that are easy to miss. like how the writing on the posters are nothing like the one in the note, not very obscure, but still not totally obvious.

33:20 Well actually a theorie: What if everyone is wearing a mask because to not let happen to get voices like the narrator in there heads, as an example: these children we saw on these missing posters had also no mask on (including miss fortune) and Mr voice was lying to let her believe everything's fine,like literally that's what he's doing the whole time ,to not let her suspish him and let her thinking Benjamin is the "bad" guy.

Hello!, im no expert so feel free to correct me but please be nice about it... i may be wrong, but motion sensor doors came around in the 70s and all through to the 90s you could give a child a note to pick up cigarettes.. so that still works
