This is just a rom hack, its not an arcade game. This guy build his own cabinet with a custom rom, which quite frankly isn't a very good one compared to a lot of the MK3 based ones out there.

@@kgthesupreme713 I would agree a lot of the MUGENs are a joke. But damn, it doesn't seem like much of a change other than adding Triborg and 2 MK Trilogy characters. There ARE some MUGEN's that are essentially the same thing but, with a lot more extras, without the broken bullshit.

Hearing Super Mario World and the OG F-Zero Title theme playing in the background at random made me SUPER nostalgic. Combined with seeing this played on arcade hardware makes me really wish I could start up my own old skool arcade. Like a playable museum.

I love the sound effects and music from mk1 through 3. I wish the version of today would put a little more emphasis on the music.

In my opinion this is why the greatest mortal Kombat game ever made my personal best hands down I wish they would have kept this realistic look to the game man it would have been awesome but I know for a fact that mortal Kombat 12 is going to be something serious can't wait been a good four or five years so far since mortal Kombat 11 I hope they take their time and make it a masterpiece

@@kaihedgie1747 Last time I've played N64 Trilogy was probably over 10 years ago, plus having an arcade perfect of version of that character feels different, even Chameleon feels different from Trilogy, he's easier to navigate through because the game runs at 54 fps.

@@LordRaptor this chameleon is wayyyy better because he's MALE chameleon and his swaps actually let you adjust to who you are. Trilogy had female chameleon and she was AWFUL due to how her swap worked as well as the fact that female ninjas just don't have the explosive combo game males do, making the swaps just not worth it and you're better off just playing the female ninjas individually.

Do you have a playthrough with chameleon, i gotta see that!

Correct. He has the clone, ice shower, and faster startup on the ice ball. As for a dick move, well... They were (are?) Hidden characters. Gotta find em 😏

Had this for xbox arcade back in the 360 era and used the cheats to unlock the hidden characters but they never stayed unlocked which sucked cuz i wanted to play as ermac

They used to sell and hd version back in the day on the xbox arcade but was removed now i think you can find it in a midway classics on xbox and ps4 or you can emulate it and bump up the graphics

That ain't how this works This is a highly modified ROM of the arcade version that was altered to add in these additional characters and other features. If you wanted this stuff on the SNES version, you'd have to separately mod in that same stuff specifically for that version

Only because I’m not using the updated select screen that has Human Smoke selectable. You have to do the Human Smoke code on Human Smoke to get Chameleon.

Copy. Yes. They should. I cannot guarantee though. Probably depends on what version you are running. Drew (tehdrewsus) would know. You can get the roms directly from Paul or Drew, or you can follow the patch instructions at Mortalkombat.plus

He has both Un-maksed Sub and Classic Sub move list, and his ice ball has been sped up by 2 frames to make it quicker.

All the new characters should always be banned in competitive play. I run a tournament every year, and only the original cast is legal. Makes it fair for everyone. And it's the way it should be. Now, something casual fun, exhibition, etc, let em rip 🙂

@@TehDrewsus Indeed, Chameleon is kinda tricky to use (but I can see why you could ban him), Triborg is broken as hell, and N64 MKT (Super) Sub-Zero... well, can be a ban disscusion or whatever, however the OG UMK3 kast is good to go overall (minus Rain and Noob Saibot).

He's the Sub-Zero from N64 version of Mortal Kombat Trilogy. He had moveset of all Sub-Zero from MK1, MKII, and MK3 combined.

@@VOAN Damn !!! Never knew this until now. I used to go to the arcades just to watch the illest players tear it apart in the 90's. But what particular moves from MK1 could he possibly have ?? I'm a MK fan for the lore as an adult. But when it comes to the og trilogy it's hidden gems like these that I keep finding and keep me coming back. So what separates Super Sub Zero from the regular masked Sub Zero on the roster ?? Does Sub Zero on the roster have a particular set of moves compared to unmasked?? Just curious. Regards.

You have a corrupt file or you didn’t patch the roms correctly. That’s all it could be.

@@IsThisReality where did you get the umk3+ roms from? If you're trying to burn to EPROM for use in an arcade cabinet, you'll need to send me your U64 serial number as the chips are digitally signed and tied to specific boards.

It's not. This is specifically the version from the N64 version of Trilogy as Sub-Zero didn't have the Ice Clone and Ice Shower in MK2

All characters have 3 skins. Tryborg skins are blue, dark blue and white
