Just when I thought all the Umi control guides are done you come up with this and blown them all out of the field. The Coral Anemone reviving jelly play was awesome. And Thunder Vassal is really interesting. You even showed the consistency %. So good!

If you chain Sea Stealth Attack to Forbidden Droplet, then if Forbidden Droplet discards a number of monsters (let's say 2 monsters) and you use Stealth Attack to remove a monster from your field so you now have less than the number of monsters discarded (so now you have only 1) then Forbidden Droplet will fail to resolve.

Forbidden droplet doesn't say "up to the number of cards discarded" therefore it is mandatory and it just misses activation

Floodgate options like "Dimensional Fissure" and "Earthshattering Event" might be effective tools in a GY meta. "Soul Drain" also.

I'm currently not playing Umi Control, so take my advice with a grain of salt. There's a Umi Control channel in the MasterDuelMeta Discord with active players that might have better ideas in the current meta :D

At 12:38 wouldn't it be better to just let the spell go through and negate the eldlich effect when its sent to the gy? Cuz they might even just bait and have another eldlich in the hand

I meantion that at 13:00 That it is better to save it for Eldlich, but I took a gamble since they only have 3 Eldlich in the deck, and I did not expect them to be using Branded Fusion.

How does the level 1 Water Spirit work with legendary ocean? Does it still work as a tuner? Is level 1 the minimum it can be?

It stays as a level 1 tuner. There's no such thing as level 0.

Why is the water kaiju used instead of the other attribute ones?

Because the Water Kaiju, Gameciel, can be searched for with Ice Barrier when you need it. You send Ice Barrier to the GY, banish it, then add any lvl 5 or higher Water monster from your deck to your hand.

Umi players rise up, also in MD card of demise is very funny with this one.

Decklist is at the end of the video. You can also find them in the description. If you checkout the Diamond 1 decks in the description, you can find the deck I got to Diamond 1 with, I recommend taking out Waking the Dragon though because it's not as useful as other cards in Ranked at the moment.

It sends Ice Barrier to the GY. You can banish Ice Barrier from the GY to add any lvl 5 or higher monster to your hand. Ice Barrier locks you into Water for 2 turns, so you must summon any non-water like Mithra before you use it.

Just need to figure out the last 10 cards to round it off and wondering if small world is the way to go.

How are you able to activate sea stealth attack in the draw phase? My MD only allows it to activate after the opponent does something in Main Phase 1

Switch your Toggle to ON when you have SSA ready. Your toggle defaults to being on Auto, which doesn't always activate when you want it to. If Toggle is ON, you can activate your effects whenever there's an opportunity, including before the Main Phase. You can switch Toggle back to Auto after activating SSA.

It's still good enough to get to Diamond 5. It will struggle against Runick though, so you might need to add Cosmic Cyclone to the deck
