These two do say words, they do a lot of gibberish but they also say words! At night they tell me they love me about 10 times in a row and they tell me I’m a good bird!😂

My mom used to have one named Sweetie Pie. Used to freak me out at 5 am to walk past her covered cage and hear her mumbling to herself then letting out a shriek demanding to be free

Sulphur crested cockatoos are much the same - they communicate one to the other verbally in the real world . When they are in the wild feeding , one will always sit high in a tree as a watchman - if he sees anything suspicious he squarks like hell and they all take to the trees. For that reason , the watchman in a bank stick up in Oz always used to be called "the Cockatoo". TE. Fidler
