My daughter born on last Sunday (04/12/22) with SUA , At the time of birth her weight was 3.2 kg , sugar level was 12 only afer 2 days it's normal , now she is fine

Searching around for more info on these abnormalities. Lost my baby at 23 weeks, he presented with 3 umbilical cord arteries instead of 2 and I got diagnosed with preeclampsia as well. Do you have more info on this abnormality: umbilical cord with 3 arteries and 1 vein

Hello, umbilical cord aneurysm is very rare. It needs to be closely monitored as it can be serious.

Thank you so much doctor. We lost our daughter at 25 weeks and the placenta results showed that the umbilical cord was hypercoiled, which caused fetal vascular thrombi and also placenta abruption .l have been devastated by this .l am even afraid to try to fall pregnant again in case the hypercoiling happens again. I was also devastated because 20 weeks ultrasound didn't show any abnormalities and it showed that the umbilical is normal in appearance and insertion
