While I wouldn't use it in my back garden due to nosey neighbours and getting the armed response unit at my front door. This is definitely something I'd use at my local air gun range
The 6 round burst is really fast. The two CO2 's are for that feature so that the cooling effect on the capsules are halved reducing the inevitable pressure drop. Six trigger pulls =36 BB's in 5 seconds Nice review Thanks Andy
Another great review Andy. Informative and entertaining to boot. Keep up the awesome work!
Spot on Andy! I'm a Walnut and Steel traditionalist, but OMG that would have been on my Santa list 50 years ago! (Maybe I now need to revisit my Santa List!!!!) TTFN.
When I was deployed to Haiti back in 2010 we used this beauty. Lovely review.
Loving the channel Andy, keep up the good work👍
What a fun little plinker. The AR replicas are great fun.... I have a Hammerli in .22 rimfire and really enjoy it. It's pretty accurate too. Our laws in NZ are pretty draconian, but not as bad as the UK..... yet... 🙂
Morning Andy, another great review, lots of family fun.
Bit dissapointed to be fair. If you can push the extra pennies, buy a Crossman SBR or a R1. Has functioning parts like Blow Back, Working Dust cover, Bolt locks on empty mag, bolt release button. The BB's are held in the magazine, along with duel CO2's, the hopper isnt really my cuppa tea. And its fully field Strippable. But I guess it depends on your budget, HK416 will still be fun to shoot, if not a bit toyish.

Waste of money…
Great video, we have been testing one and it is great fun indeed. Done a video for shot count and we got 330 BBs out of the Duel Co2 Magazine.
Thank you, Andy, another great review
Great review again Andy, you are costing me a fortune this is another gun I have ordered.
Just got 1! bare bones basic bb rifle that's a little gem and so much fun which is what its all about brings HUGE smiles to my face. Great video Andy really enjoyed had me giggling hard when you said you sounded like muttley 😂
Cool! It’s basically a Steel Storm in an M16 case - sans burst mode, sadly. It’s time that particular law was changed!
A super review as always Andy. However, on reading through the comments this HK 416 has certainly got mixed reactions and raised some interesting points.
Lovely.....I have a semi/3burst/auto model :).... Very fun plinker..... Was a wee bit more expensive though..... but I normally use it for fun on the paper targets in semi....
Not sure .. but that magazine's gas port (on rop of the mag) seems somewhat very similar as on the Sig Sauer M17 magazine.. Not a big fan of that BB reservoir (or "hopper") system - but I guess it might be a pretty neat BB rifle even though, especially for those who get the burst mode for the same price (or less in the US I'm betting) of one of those rifles..
Perfect and complete review as always 💀👍
I wish some company would make a 12 fpe PCP pellet firing version .
Very interesting this one. Not my cup of tea and I will never get one. But strangley still watched Andy until the end. Would have liked a bit more on the red dot n magnifier personally but an entertaining watch yet again. 👍
thx again and good weekend!!!
I think this would make a wonderful companion to my Umarex RP5 177 carbine 🙂
Andy that looks like loads of fun! Thanks for reviewing this 😁😁😁🔫🔫🔫🎯🎯🎯
I have 2 bb guns both h.k one is a mp5k PDW and the other is a usp pistol. A local gun shop is selling the hk416 for £195 and after watching your video I have a feeling I'll be adding the hk416 to my collection!!.

Nice bit of kit ! 👍
After handling this and a SBR , I would go towards Crossman for the realism, and this for the magazine :)
Fun Gun, great review. As ever.
Andy, great review, loved it. I have just got one of these and am wondering what kind of range / power will it have? I don't want to start using it in my garden if its likely to end up putting holes in fences etc. I'm thinking of a large carboard box 4ft x 4ft, targets in the middle, with cushions in it as a catcher, will that be sufficient?
Andy, what happens when you fire the last round? Does it lock open or just carry on firing gas?
Looks unreal ,brilliant fun
Good morning Andy ! whot a great review , of this HK .... the fun factor and having something looking like the real thing!! ... make this a good selling point ? . I feel the price is good also ... thank you for your hard work Andy .... Cheers Si 🙃

Your videos are great. I Own some of the sig air rifles and am waiting on this one in the mail.
Great review great fun
I've got my hands on one of these now. Will have some fun in the garage with it later. I only have 8m range so it's a little overkill but it is ambidextrous therefore my other half who's a lefty can have a go as well. Looking forward to decimating a few Pringles tubes and coffee tins as well as a few targets. I have a setup consisting of a cheap projector and a Chromecast which can throw the image from my phone up onto cardboard to use as a target. The other half likes to use her ex husband cropped from their wedding photo. Each to their own eh!
I'm pretty sure Umarex do a more powerful T4E version of this, would like to see a review of that...

This is very cool, but I already have the Crosman SBR which is full auto, so it wouldn't make much sense to buy this. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this review though...I honestly love anything airgun related. Your reviews are great Andy!..thank you.

ok im only 6 mins in and im in love alrdy, absolutely my next buy oh also from your past videos i have bought the HDR 50, HDS 68 and HDX 68 and soon this so your vids defo work and i think umarex owes you some commission
Try threading some rope or string through the ring pulls of the cans then fix it at either end leaving the cans swinging freely. No more re-stacking and more fun! Try it yrself👍
Hello. I recently met and subscribed to this channel, the content is very interesting, I have become obsessed with buying one of those little toys. I laughed a lot with the image of the dog Muttley. Greetings from Chile South America
What would you get, this or a Sig Sauer MPX which are currently on sale at £189?
This may sound realy dumb but i'm new to this and i'm planing to buy my first gun, HK416 A5 specifically, for simple backyard target shooting wich is better: Airsoft or the Airgun version?
I have this rifle it is amazing lots of fun and accurate for a bb rifle and not expensive at all the upper holds 300 plus bbs
'Trouble will gravitate towards you..' Yes - in the form of 64grain lead core - at 2800 fps.
nice rifle i think i will buy myself one. i have a umarex ram pistol but the 11 joule bang ist pretty loud so i thought i might switch to BB guns
Morning, try asking for spare parts From Umarex ! They couldn't supply me with butt pad for my Browningx blade 2 gas ram .177 even with me wanting to pay . Their excuse being it not being comparable with present existing model despite mine being purchased 2 months ago any ideas for finding a solution. Thank you
Oh my I have the M4 and love it

Morning Andy, I have a Tokyo Maru airsoft HK416D 6mm bb battery version of this. It’s a much better replica than the Umarex and has single shot or full auto. Much of it is metal and the ammo is loaded into the magazine (82 bb’s). It’s much lower powered but is very accurate and great for plinking. Admittedly it was a lot more expensive than this version, but it is a far more accurate replica in construction and weight to the original and has full auto which is great fun. I also use biodegradable bb’s which is better in the garden.

I have the airsoft Gas Blow Back version of the gun, it's great fun thanks to it working in a very similar way to 'real steel', being LOUD and having a lot of recoil. However the restrictions on buying airsoft rifles are much more of a pain for the casual plinker than with air rifles, so legally it ought to be a two-tone painted version of the gun - much less appealing. (Of course some airsoft sellers won't care too much, and the onus is on the seller to obey the law, not the buyer, so ... I'll leave it at that!)

@@FlyboyHelosim ... point of order, UAKARA is not a 'licence', merely a formalised system for assisting retailers in having a defence for selling a RIF to a person. So your second point is where it's at - the intention is an accessible database of active skirmishers, such that proving the sale was legal is vastly simplified for the seller. Back to the topic - the GBBR version of the '416 is my favourite gun, it's an absolute cracker :)

@stabilis8895

It's an co2 airgun 😂😂. No recoil!
This should be interesting, i bought a sig saur virtus, that you wouldnt get too much meat hunting small game. Also, it seems, has no part exchange value. Its value lies in its home defence, with adjustment you can even empty heavy .22 x 30 round magazine in less than 10 seconds in a faux semi auto mode at about 10ft+lbs. Regarding sighting aids, a red dot or laser accessory does the job.

If you can't have full auto or burst in the UK, perhaps look into an extended trigger or "blade trigger".

Looks great fun, but I'm not a fan of BBs, shame they can't make more replicas that fire pellets.
I love these for the simple reason they massively upset the wood stock purists. Modern, modular and ambidextrous / easy to access. This is the future
Im waiting for the 50cal barratt replica. Probably be five shots per co2.
Careful Andy it looks like your enjoying yourself TOO MUCH 👍😂
For ultimate fun, this needs full auto mode.
They sold this in the USA about 5year already fun to mod and it had 6 round burst mode but if you take out the timing gear in it goes full auto. I put one empty co2 and a dummy co2 hpa teather to a hpa tank pull out the little motor that shacks from a old cell phone a 18650 battery and push button . So you don't have to shack it any more just push the bottom the motor shacks the bb for you. 💯👍✌️🛠️🎯
"More rails than Amtrac." 🤣🤣🤣 Great and fun looking gun for sure! You showed those cans who's behind the trigger, LOL. 👍👍😉 Pete 🇨🇦

Amtrak don't own many of their own rails! They mainly run on tracks owned by various freight railroads.I have a feeling that the longest continuous track Amtrak actually own is the electric track from Boston to Washington DC via New York City?

Great review as always, but as usual UK price £160 to £200 and no full auto. US price around 100 dollars and full auto. I know umarex can't do anything about the full auto but can't see justification of the price difference.
Not air soft, not target/pest- just for fun and replica collectors.
