so sad that you probably have never even opened a Gemara or Psalms or Siddur to see how beautiful your religion is. So sad especially you are from Eretz Yisrael. May i sugges that you go to a Judaica store and find Rabbi Shalom Arush. His story is amazing. An ultra secular Israeli and how he came home to HaShem. International Garden of Emuna, Garden of Fields. You can speak to your Father in heaven as if He was your best friend. He is involved in your life. Every detail. And although you are so far away from Him he adores you. He is your FATHER. Unlike a human father who doesnt listen at times or hold grudges, if you speak with him with your voice and spill your guts to Him. You will see things happen in your life. It is called hitbodedut. Talking to G-d in personal prayer and requests. You know we think who am I that HaShem hears me, cares about me or gets involved in my life. HE DOES. Just talk to him, your thoughts, your confessions, your emotions no matter what it is. Your heart will open up wide. You are His child
