This was the only thing that was downloaded on my phone when the Ukrainian war started, so I could only listen to it for a few days which I spent in an underground bunker. It soothed me and allowed me to sleep a bit. And it soothes me even now.

I think it is. Some Metal enthusiasts and artists are turning to this Neofolk/Dark Folk. There lies the root to the tree we have always admired and wondered where it came from, from which secret wells its vibrant leaves were fed.

Ever since i found "in the woods" and "years of silence" I've been getting better music than ever before.You certaintly wouldn't find this on some bacterium-plus-detention-desk-looking dude's soundcloud,huh?No offense to people who like LinkinPark,but just cause old songs were good that doesn't mean new songs are bad,and THIS album is proof of that.It's so good!

Words really can't describe how much this music means to me. I've been listening for 3 years, and it fills my heart with so much light and inspiration still. Both this album, and the "Ulvesang" album.

Always fan of try before buy. Even when I living in the maritimes, not much exposure to folk & this sort of music outside of the fall festivals. These bands have this channel to thank for the myriad purchases I've made this year. Maybe many will enjoy for free, but ppl who can afford to give back & support will gain new horizon because of it.

After the third listening, i can shurely tell, this album is a masterpiece of guitar music. That guitar needs more bass, but damn, this guy will become HUGE, if he continues to make music, like Estas tonne. There are no wrong notes here, only perfect notes, the perfect tempo, the perfect mood, the style, omg... Dear sir, i don't know your name, but your playing is eternal!

What an absolute beautiful album. I'm in tears. So grateful I was guided too this heart felt soul revival music.

I'm sad Ulvesang only has two albums. Some of the most beautifully unique stuff I've ever heard.

The name of the band is 'Ulvesang'. 'Ulvesang' is a Danish word, it means 'Wolf Song'.

This ain`t stuff that you find, but it finds you. Not that I mind.

Quiet Canada needed it's own natural sounds put into a "wilderness quest" for our home and native land...almost extinct in noise. Events. Trespassings...We all have limits. We all have boundaries. Keeping our treasures safe and unpolluted is up to us. Music allows the untouchable to be admired without trampling all over it. The distance in Silence is a peaceful worship of our land. Thank you for the trip!

Only now do you understand. Music feels more sincere because it speaks to something deeper than thoughts, and deeper than feelings.

This was the music in Tristram before things went bad.

I can tell why that one song is called "The Dance." It's the dance of predator and prey, chasing, running, slowing down, adjusting, and chasing again. It's honestly amazing.

I woke up this morning, saw this as a recommended to listen too, I listened, I loved. It felt like a journey I needed to go on.

I simply adore this duo, simply divinely inspired by the goddess, nature herself.

really a masterful and beautiful harmonic ambient quality brought together with chants and atmospheric sounds of nature. I really enjoy this album.

Game changer. Some parts remind me of Pagan Altar, Trespass Genesis, and Jethro Tull. Incredible music.

Jethro Tull is definitely in there, but Ian Anderson always played this style tongue-in-cheek and somewhat mocked it... this here is sincere. If you want more similar content, Wolcensmen are great, you can find all albums here on KZread.
