Ultrasound Video showing Hemangioma in Liver.
This video shows Hemangioma in the Liver.
A liver Hemangioma, also known as a hepatic hemangioma, is a benign (non-cancerous) tumor in the liver that is made up of clusters of blood-filled cavities fed by the hepatic (liver) artery. Usually, a patient has only one hemangioma, but in some cases, there may be more than one.
Hepatic hemangioma. Hepatic hemangiomas are benign vascular liver lesions. They are frequently diagnosed as an incidental finding on imaging, and most patients are asymptomatic. From a radiologic perspective, it is important to differentiate hemangiomas from hepatic malignancy.
Hepatic hemangiomas are much more common in females, with an F: M of up to 5:1
Ultrasound
Typically well-defined hyperechoic lesions
a small proportion (10%) are hypoechoic, which may be due to a background of hepatic steatosis, where the liver parenchyma itself is of increased echogenicity
color Doppler: may show peripheral feeding vessels.

Could it not be a focal fat? How can we differentiate b/w the two?
What is the difference between hemangima, mass, metastasis on ultrasound image
