I need this, had nerve compression for 3 months, can’t lie on my back the running goes into my legs. Point at back burns and sore when I press it sends running into my leg.

Hi it is difficult to do this with a linear probe. the physical properties of the patient are important. Because these structures are quite deeply located.

Do you have to be a Doctor to do this or can a radiologist learn to do it?

Radiology is a medical specialty.

The interventional procedures are only performed by a physician. If you mean the radiology doctors, of course they can do it but this procedure need the advanced education, the radiology doctor should get fellowship residency to perform this block.

Any courses in the USA? I can't find a course in the US, but wouldn't mind to go to Europe

Search for "minimally invasive spine intervention" courses. I guess at least Stanford's got one.

tşk ederim. 19 aralıkta DOKAR (Doğu karadeniz romatoloji günleri) da yarım günlük online vakalar eşliğinde bir toplantı yapacağım. Aslında yaklaşık 20 kurumda uygulamalı USG kursu yapmıştım. Ancak pandemi nedeniyle ara vermek zorunda kaldık. 2022 yılı baharında trabzonda yüzyüze vakalar eşliğinde kurs düzenlemeyi planlıyorum... kısmet olursa... selamlar.....

Sir, how to perform the same injection at level L5S1 ? the iliac crest at this livel makes difficult the approach..

you are right. In patients with disc herniation, the physical characteristics of the patient should be suitable for the injections with us. L5-S1 injections are difficult to do with US. I prefer caudal injections with ultrasonography in these cases. I prefer fluoroscopic injections in L5-S1 foraminal herniations.
