I really appreciate your vulnerability and honesty in this video. Things like this should definitely be discussed with anyone who wants to enter the field because it can help someone decide if this is what they want to do before they spend a lot of time and money in a program. I'm really grateful for this video because it shows the humanity of medical professionals because I know that you have to keep a brave face when doing exams, and to some that may seem like you don't care. We see your kind and caring heart, and I hope you stay strong! You are appreciated!

Thank you so much Amanda for listening, commenting, watching, supporting. It means a lot to get feedback from my videos. Yeah there’s definitely something about being strong during and then breaking down after the fact. I’m sure people aren’t alone in that aspect. I can only feel for the nurse who had to go through that. It was the first time he ever had to do something like that. 🥺 I felt like we were in it together, not only trying to help save her life but mourn the life in front of our eyes. There are medical staff who really do care! I cried every time I thought of that mom and baby for a while afterwards. Thanks so much for everything! 🤍

This was very hard for me to film. I was in the most vulnerable state. And there’s so many things I wish I said but didn’t because of the thoughts in my head. I wanted to make sure I didn’t say the wrong thing but also say what I wanted to express. Please be mindful when you watch this video & know I filmed it the intentions of helping you all through your journeys of becoming a Sonographer. This is for anyone who wants to feel what a true hard day is like, to know there are going to be hard days, and that you can get through them too. The medical field is hard, we are humans and not built to be numb to everything. But this is just one of my stories and I hope it resonates with you.

I think it’s extremely important to share the good and the bad. The reality of it all. A lot of people think our job is a piece of cake, when it is far far from that most of the time. You’re an amazing tech Geselle, and your patients are lucky to have you. ❤️

You are SO strong and amazing Geselle... I was always told that the best medical professionals are the ones that can actually empathize with their patients and don't see them as trouble, or "another scan". Our patients are people, we chose this career to help those people, because not everyone is able to withstand this sort of emotional strain on top of their everyday lives. You are a gift to ultrasound, and a gift to your workplace and please don't ever forget that. Though a patient is going through one of the most difficult times of their life, we can still make a difference in the way we treat them and just being there for them; listening to them. Everything you do for our community is very well appreciated

You are also a gift to your patients and us all. I’m so proud of you and thankful for your support and friendship! 💚

We might have to resolve in the field that might take away our interest in the job as well as high-spirit as we’re enjoying our work. This demonstration is a signature on how to handle incidents like those and try to maintain our sanity in the midst of those difficult situations.
