I did connect mine to a laptop usb for the power and added some essential oils . When i woke up, the thing had cracked and was breaking apart. What could be the problem? I doubt that the laptop power would be too powerful for it

No, it would be defective piece. If possible ask for replacement. Because output of laptop is same as normal charger or even less then that.

Very nice

The video helped. But the directions are horrible. And the spring does not Twist Off on mine. I have to unscrew the whole thing and then take the filter out while trying not to disconnect the wires.

Do you know the size of that humidifier's filter? I'm planning to buy a replacement filter for my humidifier which is the same as yours in this video, but then I realized that there are different sizes of filter for every product.

When the cotton stick changes it's colour to brownish, you will have to replace it.

pros easy to use cons died by day three. I pulled it apart and the wiring was not properly soldered causing the motor to burn out. Save your money and buy something decent

Oil is only for fragrance. It can work on water as humidifier. Will not produce any fragrance.

hi i ordered a diffuser on amazon it stated it was powered by usb cable but did not say anything about voltage are all difusser powered on a 5volt like you said

Hi, This model doesn't have auto cutoff system. If water is over the mist humidifier might get damaged. So it's Not recommended to use it overnight. Thank You

I had the same problem then I realized the little metal spiral fell out when I opened it and that's what was missing to push the filter up and produce mist. Check it if you have it

If you need fragrance then use essential oil. Otherwise it will only moisturize the room

You don't have to use essentials oils, because the oil makes it get stuck, you have to buy essentials for diffursors

In my first use, i didn't soak the cotton in water for 30 seconds. Is that why its taking too long for the humidifier to fog? It's almost 15 mins now and i see no results.

Pls dip the filter in water for min or two. If still mist foggy doesn't appear then your device must be having some problem.

Mist Maker Atomizer must be blocked. This happens when too much aroma oil is used or hard water is used. You will have to replace the ultrasonic mist maker.
