Ultralight Wild Camp at Grindslow Knoll in the Lanshan 2

After many months of telling myself I needed to reduce my pack weight, Ive finally dug deep and spent some pennies on some ultra light gear.
In this video, I explain the reasons that I chose the Lanshan 2, and why I was totally wrong about the company behind it, 3FULgear.
Join me as I climb up The Nab from Edale, travel along the Edge Path to collect some water at Grindsbrook and then camp right at the top of Grindslow Knoll. Perfect weather conditions and some utterly stunning countryside!

The green lanshan 2 is the perfect color on the grassland, blending in！！

@@camperlists7090 yeah, I thought so too. In next week's video I camp next to an orc Rakoon, which is even more invisible.
Cracking video that. Lovely views from the Nab and your pitch at Grindslow. Great to see how happy it made you at the end with that sense of achievement. Great video Phil, the camera captured some lovely colours- in particular your hair of course 🙂 Considering all you brought, you kept the weight pretty manageable. The Peak District tea looked well stewed at Grindsbrook! All the best. Bri.

I have had the lanshan 2 for a cpl of yrs now... keep meaning to do the mods on it , for one reason or another I haven't yet..... am going to invest in the rucksack because of it weighing so little and how you stow the closedcell mat on it.... nice video .Take care out there.

The only mod I've done is to change the door guy lines from one single one to a long one connected to the top and a short one with a carabineer connected to the doors. The Quidian rucksack is fantastic, I've just got ack from another camp, its a real game changer for me. Thanks for your comment, hope you enjoy my other videos too.
Great vid Phil.... I do like to bring my drone into the mix aswell.... also great music choice 😊 Quick question, is that Edale carpark and if so how much is it to park overnight ?

@@hills_wild_camping yes, it's £8.30 for 24 hours. I try to pay in advance using the paytopark app with location code 806749 There isn't any 5g signal until you get up onto kinder, although I often wait and pay then.
