Fun fact: the only time you see an enemy (not a boss) with a health bar is in 6-1, where you see the health bar of the enemy versions of 2 hideous masses

Bro I always thought that you can damage mass ONLY hitting weak parts, I didn't know that you can damage it on any part..

Nice guide! Also easy way to kill mass - throw two coins in the belly, shoot the blue rail, then add two more coeens

Coin adding is hella fun too! I do enjoy saving my coins up though; I’m a bit stingy that way xD

you can also shoot magnets into the chest where his tail would be and shoot all of your saws into him, works in the cyber grind for me pretty well

There’s no real “right” way of doing it, but I like to do it this way since it’s the most consistent and easiest method for me hahaha

I use railgun after that sawblades(alternative of nail gun) , and finishing him after he enters rage mode with normal pistol laser, maybe coins after because sometime sawblades doesn’t do enough damage

Saw blades are also pretty good and sinking a nail gun overheat is good too

I just Tag with the railgun and jump around and spray nails in it’s general directions since if I approach they like punch me of the map every time haha

I just spam everything I have with him. Screwdriver then nailgun alt with red arm then parry shotgun,bomb and end with a pistol alt fire

I personally double pump, shoot and melee with the knuckle blaster, then blue rail coin, and it like lowers their HP enough to just finish off with the nailgun

A very fancy combo!

i usually just stick a magnet on its chest and spam saws; the arc perfectly circles around the hideous mass to hit its tail and it gets shredded by the saws doing constant damage to it

I personally just burst it down with the overheat nailgun in the red weak spot. Kills it fairly quickly.

Yea; HiMs usually take a ton of damage from friendly fire, so even a single burst of damage can take it out on the higher waves!

you can also just conductor trick (nails + blue railgun)

my combo for cybergrind is 3 cicles of shotgun, get away before the orbs it throws fall and railgun it in the chest

You can also parry his balls in to him if you hit the right spot you will oneshot

3 coins, charge slab piercer. done! you good to go!

For the 2-3 hideous mass i used both of the nailguns

Fun fact:if it hits you with its hook,you can just punch the hook to get it off

Shooting the tail will also retract the hook. Punching the hook with the Feedbacker will need two punches, but the Knuckleblaster will get rid of it in one.

Because Cyber Grind versions of bosses have less hp than their campaign counterparts! Don’t want anyone thinking these kills are gonna fully take out the normal boss; it’ll take a couple more hits

u can just use nailgun to kill him very fast and provide very good amount of healing
