Do you sell guitar?
In my humble opinion: you build amazing guitars but in my 57 years of playing and having owned over 30 guitars during that time, I must say that this ultra Strat is the most beautiful version of the guitar that I have ever seen. We didn’t get to witness it being played so I can’t speak to it fulfilling every element of my fantasy but still, its beauty has no comparison.

I'm glad that you like it that much! Thank you for your time and this lovely comment!
You are a true craftsman and artist, this is the most beautiful guitar that I have even seen. The gold hardware was the only choice with the warm wood tones. EXCELLENT!
Not normally a fan of stained guitars or gold hardware let alone both. But what you've made there sure looks classy.

Looks amazing man, the contrast of the wood and the hardware, I like it!!
What a beautiful hand crafted instrument you have created!
That Stratocaster build came out beautiful! From the hardware choices to how you carved the body was something I haven't seen before. I built my own Stratocaster recently, but it doesn't come close to the amount effort you put into yours.
Top shelf guitarc with high quality parts and workmanship. But I have never seen such a beautiful, glossy oil finish. Just perfection

Great video - thanks so much! I’m having a Strat body built with all of this same stuff you used here. I did not know about the Claw adjusting mechanism from Schaller though so I ordered one straight away. It’s a beautiful finished look for sure.

Oh my pleasure, as I mentioned to you I have the same hardware, well it’s almost the same. Schaller was making this in what I believe they called ‘vintage copper’ ( kinda bronze looking too ) it’s beautiful. It took me quite a while to find everything because I’ve read that they stopped making all of this in that finish sadly. I had to order a few parts from Germany & France too. I do wish they still made the bridge, tuners etc.. in this finish though, I can’t see people not wanting it to be honest. Thanks again, great video really.

Oh, The one I’m making here is ( I am only assembling it, I’m having Texas Toast cut me a one-piece body out of Swamp Ash ) a Swamp Ash body which will be painted Mary Kay White and a solid rosewood neck I purchased from Fender and then all the Schaller vintage copper hardware of course 👍
amazing work, splendid craftsmanship! thanks for sharing

When drilling holes in the neck at about 6:34 , I would put a towel between the sanding radius block and the fretboard to avoid scratching the frets

I would do that if those are nickel frets, but with alu you can’t do anything to steel frets

This was a great series of videos and the guitar would be a pleasure to own. I don't think I would have made the same decision as you did when it came to the pickup rings not fitting and I am sure you were more than a little disappointed having to do that so the show could move forward. It just goes to show how hard it is to get everything fitting right on a hand built instrument with some ordered parts. This is not something that can't be addressed and I know you will remain aware and learn for the future builds that you do. Well done my friend

Just to add, some people would call them ferrules too hehe The same would go for some tuners like the vintage Fender and Kluson tuners
Absolutely amazing! No sound test though?
Great work ans thank you for the tip with the Schaller SureClaw. Can you tell me the manufuturer of the single coil frames?
Great work Barada guitars! One comment though, why not a hole in the rear cover to adjust the sure claw adjustment, without having to take it off?

I like the use of quality schaller products . Do you build the necks different if you use maple for the fretboard ( the skunk strip method ) ?
@BaradaGuitars
3 жыл бұрын
You could use both ways the strip method or without it, but the strip always gives a nice touch
What is the purpose of the metal foil put in the routed holes before installing the pickups?
It was perfect up until the last part... Personally I would have recessed the back tremolo cover like you did the control cavity, was very upset to see that. And lastly, NO SOUND DEMO?!?!?!?! Otherwise I watched all your videos from the start of your build, and you have done very well at building from scratch a very very beautiful and precise and high quality hand built Guitar and IMO what I think a Super Strat should be and worthy of bragging rights. Good job dude. Clap clap.

My dad has the same opinion like you about recessing the back tremolo cover, but I didn't want to go so far from the original design. The sound demo will be in the next full build video. Many thanks for your commenting and watching time ! Stay tuned!
Actually, I can't stand with clear gloss finish on strat bodies. But honestly, this baby is fucking awesome. Good job boss... In the end, folks, please trust the power of gold parts!

Sorry if I gave a thumbs down, did not mean to do that! Enjoyed the 3 part build series. Beautiful guitar. Curious, Why didn’t you recess the tremolo cover?
Marvellous Man, a masterpiece, is it for sale? How much?
I think the issue with your single coil pickup rings is that they're for a Telecaster neck pickup, which is much smaller than a Stratocaster single coil pickup.

@@BaradaGuitars I got the same kind of rings for the single coils for two different builds. One set of pickups fit like a glove through the hole, the other set did not. I had to lightly Dremel the hole to make things smooth. I checked and the package definitely said Strat pickup rings.
