I have to believe Daima happens between Superhero and Granolah. Empty space of 2.5 years. I hope they are saving the training in flashback until some dramatic point where Piccolo tells him something that inspires Gohan in a fight. Remember Gohan didn't start as Great Saiyaman he needed a disguise. And he used it only against no-ki users, whenever it was serious he took off the hat like against Kibito and Hirudegarn. So to me he is saying they are being super heroes at the wrong time.

Absolutely loved this chapter and loving this arc so far. Gave us really great, different, and unique dynamics and interactions, absolutely love the homage to Future Trunks and Future Gohan, love how Broly’s really progressing as a character and is part of the gang now, I think it’s awesome that Goten and Trunks are the ones that came up with the name Ultimate for Gohan’s potential unleashed state, it’s great to see Goku and Gohan sparring each other again, and despite Fat Gotenks being used again, I’m so happy Goten and Trunks are finally training again and training on Beerus’s planet. I definitely feel there’s a lot in store for Goten and Trunks, feel they are going to actually really progress and develop more in this arc as well as advance their training and get new forms, and I absolutely feel the real teen Gotenks is being saved for something else in this arc. Also Carmine and his henchman are recording the fights and different levels of power on Beerus’s planet, so I also feel that will actually lead to something, hopefully it will lead to Android 21 being introduced in the manga and serving as the main villain as well as hope the manga introduces new way more powerful Androids that get built by Android 21.

*Now this! This right here... felt like a Dragon Ball chapter both in action and comedy 👌.* This felt like Z era stuff

@@SmugStick Personally, I like to see Gohan vs Goten it makes it better that we saw it in the manga. Now maybe, just maybe Bandai Namco can add Teen Goten and Trunks and just like in Budokai Tenchikai 3, they could fuse into gotenks but since we see more of the failed fusions you can have custom button mapping settings (To change the controls) to have a faile fusion. For example, like for fat gotenks, you can have Up Up C stick (right) and X, while for Skinny gotenks you can have, Down Left Left stick (Up) Triangle. So it would be cool for them to add it as a cool feature!

Also for Goten’s and Trunks’s development moving forward and training in this arc, I really look forward to them hopefully getting properly mentored by their dads, hopefully Whis as well, and Gohan if and when they return to Earth. And for their development as well, I really hope Goten and Trunks do follow the God Ki route and get Ssj God in this arc ether from participating in the Ssj God ritual and do extended advanced God ki training along with them developing their own unique versions of Ssj God or do God Ki training first and training like Vegeta did under their dads and Whis, train both in Whis’s staff and in the HTC, get Ssj2 during their training, and then get God Ki, but they have trouble achieving Ssj God cause they don’t have total control over God Ki so then they continue their training with Gohan on earth, train under both Gohan and Gamma 1, they also work on proper ki Control training while improving their control with God Ki, they hopefully develop an enhanced Ssj2 form, and then later achieve Ssj God maybe even apply God Ki to an enhanced Ssj2 form to achieve an enhanced Ssj2 version of Ssj God. However if they don’t get Ssj God and God ki in this arc, I do hope the arc sets Goten and Trunks up to follow the God Ki route in the future and Goten and Trunks in the arc advance their training, achieve Ssj2, achieve Ssj3 individually without fusion, and hopefully develop enhanced way more powerful versions of Ssj2 and Ssj3. Another thing I really hope happens too in the arc is Goten and Trunks learning and doing Spirit Control training as well to evolve themselves and to also develop their own special forms. I feel Spirit Control training would advance and evolve Goten, Trunks, and their development dramatically too as well as feel Spirit Control would allow them to develop their own special individual Spiritual Saiyan Hybrid form, maybe like a different version of Ssj Rage that they can apply to any form and technique. Plus it would be cool if Spirit Control allowed Goten and Trunks to develop a ability that both boosted their fusions and boosted themselves individually like a fusion as well as maybe even unlocking more of their potiental and awakening the true power of S Cells. Also I feel Spirit Control would allow Goten and Trunks to both enhance forms and help them master and evolve Ssj3 both for fusion and individually if they individually achieve Ssj3.

The fact that Goten and Trunks failed to do a fusion after 9 years... 😫

That final panel of Trunks vs Gohan just looks so wrong anatomically! :') TBH Goten and Trunks could've failed the fusion because of external circumstances, not because of their own fail (ESPECIALLY if they trained! ugh) I wish they'd had landed that double kick on Gohan, too... now! though? So many empty little moments that itch the fanfic writer in me, for more slice of life or down content :')

@@DarkStone101 you’re thinking ultra instinct has a set multiplier, it doesn’t. The technique is constantly evolving he’s stronger every time he uses it.

Tbh since this is a Goku Vs Gohan rematch we’re talking about, it’s very likely that Goku is gauging and testing Gohan Beast before going all out, while Gohan Beast is already going all out to impress Goku.

@@SmugStick I’m just saying because it doesn’t feel like good writing to make him the stronger one. Don’t get me wrong he does have bigger potential and Beast is pretty cool plot wise, but I just don’t see how he’s stronger than Goku when he struggled with someone weaker than Broly while Goku is implied to have surpassed Broly. Not to mention, Goku is the MC of Super and Toriyama has given up on Gohan being the MC and Even if Gohan Beast is stronger than Goku, Goku will just surpass him again anyways. But I respect your opinion regardless though.

I think either Beerus or Vegeta interrupts the fight to challenge Gohan

It's because the plot hasn't required them to because they usually rely on fusion so much. Plus, they kind of made them both even lazier at training than Gohan is implied to be half the time. Gohan has an excuse because he's the breadwinner of a family, and he has to be a father and husband. Those two don't have an excuse apart from just being lazy because the writers don't know what to do with them.

Well, Gohan abandoned his headgear first of his appearance at the tenkaichi budokai of the buu saga, then, we even have a little plot if we want, cause just in Super, when Gohan confronts Goku as GreatSayaman, Goten for first dislike the custom of the brother sayng that is weird...so the sentence of Gohan could be saw as a little revenge on it

As much as I want this to be the beginning of a new arc, this part is still in Super Hero Arc from what Victory Uchida says anyway plus there hasn't been any promotion of this new arc yet. 🫤 Man, even when we hear about Goten and Trunks training, we still can't get a Teenage/Young Adult Gotenks. 🫠 I'm definitely looking forward to more of this fight next month. My favorite part was Gohan and Trunks clashing panel it felt when Future Gohan and Trunks were training with each other. 🙂

Gohan is right they need to do their own thing instead of being like other people and they was calling him lame when he was a superhero then they grew up to do what he’s doing very hypocritical. I feel like they should do their own path trunk should be been a Vegeta raised earth version. And goten should’ve been a Gohan inspired Goku trainer. Those two are even more wasted potential than Gohan.

Honestly, I gave up on goten and trunks a long time ago. Nothing they can do now is relevant. They’re basically the fusion duo and they still mess up.

This really didn’t help their character to me. It just made them look worse. The thing they were supposed to be number one at which is fusion they have been failing it every time there on screen or the focus.

I hate that this franchise doesnt take us fans seriously. Give us a good fight between Gotensk and Gohan FFS.. 😑 Or at least Jiren vs Broly somehow..

@@divinejustic3 Being a fan doesn't mean that you can't criticize things. If others liked it... that's fine, but your logic is dumb. If someone doesn't blindly love all of something they clearly aren't real fans? Plus, not once did I say that it wasn't enjoyable. I said that *I* was disappointed. I waited a month for a fight that wasn't delivered. Now, I have to wait another month for the fight, and it'll probably get interrupted by Videl reminding Gohan about a P.T.A. meeting or something.
