    Gary Hart was indeed a great,for real manager,IF individuals such as Missing Link and Kamala would ve been willing to work with him,I am sure they would ve ended in a different situation,he was a genius when it came ro money and contracts...RIP Gary Hart.

    Yeah....but these guys got off on it, the "play" roughness, the domination, and the "friction" of the holds....and beating-up and humiliating a "jobber" in front of a crowd was actually an aphrodisiac, an added turn-on for a lot of the heels "bullies"

    Warrior would interlock arms and legs with Lance and then they would both flex...then utilize a claw hold on Lance's balls and dick then pull his hair back andLance would do the same to Warrior. Choke holds and claws to the pecs and the loser would then flay in weakness to the champion's victory!

    I remember seeing Dingo on ESPN's World Class program before he ventured into the WWF. The funny thing is that I hated the UW as a kid, hate him as an adult, but yet I have a fondness for how World Class handled him.

  • @oneyedthing

    @oneyedthing

    The UW gimmick thrown by Vince worked so much it over shadowed every other WWF wrestler including Hogan. It is not UW's fault entirely though. The fans loved the whole UW shtick that Vince needed to put UW over.

    @JoeCubBear Lance wasn't even a member of the Von Erich/Adkinson family. Fritz brought Lance in due to Mike's illness. When Lance went to a rival promotion, Fritz broke kayfabe on television to say that Lance was never a Von Erich. Gary Hart was one of many in the back who thought bringing in Lance was a bad idea

  • @HorrorFreak68

    Mike wasn’t sick or injured when they got the idea for Lance. The first time we heard Lance’s name in Dallas was in early 1984 when Michael Hayes said his name as one of the possible people who was going to be Kevin and Mike’s mystery partner at Parade of Champions.

    It's rare to see someone as musclebound as the warrior. Obviously this Lance Von Eric guy wasn't as ripped but he had a respectable physique. I have to say, it's even more rare to see a point in time where there was someone more popular than warrior wrestling him. Going back this far in Warriors career though demonstrates that he was always an incompetent wrestler. He only made it to the top because of his gimmick, his fantastic physique and his bad ass attitude. If he hadn't have been a wrestler, have made a great superhero in a movie or even a fantastic baddy to the incredible hulk. Or even the incredible hulk himself.

  • @totaldevastation2470

    The only reason Lance was popular at all was because he had the Von Eric Family name and brothers who were more famous then himself.I never heard of him at all but knew of the others.The Warrior started from scratch so fuck what people say.
