    WOW, What a build. I had to watch this twice to try and pick the hell out of it, LOL. I don't know about the recovery board table, It looks heavier than it needs to be and where does the mud fall to whilst it's drying, if it's full of mud, leaves, etc...?. Being able to use cold water for showers from a creek in a bucked is a bonus to conserve drinking water that you have to carry on board. And finally, condiments placed in containers in the fridge prevents a lot of cold air falling out when the fridge door is open. But having lithium probably negates this. I love the removable water tap, might have to adopt this method for mine. Overall, it's a really nice build, happy for you guys, keep up the good work. P.S. I do miss Elsie.

    Looks amazing, as close to perfect as you can get. Would love a troopy one day ,would be me and 2 kids, in theory you could have 1 seat where your clothes are stored next to the toilet? The only thing I may change is a big dual zone instead of the upright, just so you can access it from inside and lots of freezer storage. I did notice the center console though which can be used as a freezer but it can get power hungry running 2 separate fridges. Quality looks excellent overall.

  • @OverlandTravellers

    The silhouette of that Headspace Campers RTT is first rate. It just looks like a slightly taller roofline of the OEM troopy roof. Unlike others that looks like there is a RTT fitted on top. And best of all, it's Australian made. The interior fit-out seems to fit your requirements well. Great choices. 👍

I like how it just looks like a slightly taller Troopy when closed - ie. the roof line is retained. I also like that it's Aussie made. Well done for being ambassadors for Aussie made products. Hey mate we have the front runner expander chairs. Super small and comfortable great for troopies. We store them in there own storage bag and just sit them in the middle. If we didn’t have the toilet in we could fit them in there. It’s a bit of a compromise not having a space for them this trip but they are the first things you grab out anyway so not too big of a deal.

    I always thought that most fit outs were much the muchness.... but this honestly is amazing. I'd happily go in and ask for the Overland travellers package 😂❤️ I had two questions. Does that toilet smell a little musty been right between your seats? Also how do you think that maxtrax holder would go if the trax had even just a bit of mud on every track? I think it looks like it would be a struggle to fit them all in. Other than that it's the best looking Max table I've seen. I love that the lugs are covered.

  • @OverlandTravellers

    @OverlandTravellers

    11 ай бұрын

    Yeah the fit and finish is amazing. Not sure about the toilet we haven't used out yet but will soon, but I think the idea is that they don't smell but we will find out! As for the Maxrtrax table this was the prototype, the versions that are out to market have a slightly different design so there is more room to slide them in :) Its been great so far.

    Great build BUT! Just a couple of things I think could be better. Socks and jocks draw is a fail when you have to open back door and get out for a fresh pair of 'Reg Grundies' That tap idea is a bit lame. So often when driving you stop and just need a little bit of water, PITA to have to get the tap out every time. That utilities panel is great for power and air only. You have all done an incredible job. You guys won't know yourselves with all that luxury. Marty from Perth

  • @OverlandTravellers

    @OverlandTravellers

    Yeah we have since swapped the clothes draw for more food. Honestly the tap is one of the most useful and practical things on the build. It’s right next to where we cook, and if you need to get it out for lunch it’s no big deal. We have the key and tap in the OGS storage pouch on the back door. If you’re getting stuff out for lunch you’re opening doors anyway. But if we need a quick drink when driving, we have water bottles we full up every morning before we leave.
