dragon mines is easy with speed once you get the shortcut entry down like your guide says 1 drift to the right just before it try 2 and u turn took me about 10 attempts to get the line now i can do it almost every time

I finished up the time trials recently, and your videos really helped me through the initial grind (looking at Tiger Temple and some of the William P. tracks). Great video man. I agree slide coliseum is my least favorite track. I actually barely beat Velo’s time trial and was dreading the developer one. What I suggest is to watch someone do a world record run cause after watching one, I managed to beat it in only a few attempts. Seeing someone else do it and try to recreate it helps a lot. I couldn’t believe that I beat it in only a few attempts after struggling to beat velo’s.

When they originally came out, I didn't have the skill needed to try and beat the developer times, but after seeing guides and using my technique I finally managed to beat them. The very first one I beat was N. Gin labs and the last one was Turbo Track. U turning was hard to master but I'm able to execute them when needed now. I might have a go with retro stadium soon, though I am content with the main 39 for now.

My top 5 in terms of attempts made were Turbo Track, Dragon Mines, Out of Time, Thunder Struck and Crash Cove. I'd never done the Dragon Mines shortcut successfully before so most of my attempts were spent learning it. On Out of Time I kept hitting the invisible wall after the clock tower and on Thunder Struck I didn't actually know about the shortcut until after I beat it. On the flip side I managed to just about beat Meteor Gorge on my first attempt.

Hyper Spaceway is the devil track lol ... love your content always

꧁Zoa Yeah i think all 40 are possible. I’m fairly good at having a tight racing line so Crash Cove wasn’t too bad. I’m more scared of tracks like Oxide Station where I mess Blue Fire up. I’ve posted a video of me doing Crash Cove if you’ve got a space 2 minutes to watch it 😂

I totally agree with this list bro but Spyro Circuit is definitely wumpa lewis.. That stage is very difficult for me. Maintaining sacred fire there is like trying to dodge rain, Lol..

Prehistoric playground is being pain in the ass. Any tips? I'm done with crash cove, Dragon mines, out of time, DSD

-Firstly you seemed to have an easier time than me with Cortex an polar pass(both need to atleast be medium(ideally hard but ok) -Secondarily out of time was personally the hardest for me (despite learning from and beating Velo) -(so Wumpa Lewis tier for me) -Lastly Assembly lane, DSD(actually an easy track when you think about it) and maybe Tiger temple should all go down a tier

Honestly even though I'm struggling on Velo's time trails, I think all the developers time trails are all in the category of WumpaLewis difficulty.

@@Azurryu I understand what you mean. I used to feel that way too. But when you can manage to hold blue fire, it feels more challenging and skilled. I don't like items in multiplayer however cause you need to keep your focus on blue fire not trying to avoid items it becomes a mess.

I've drove assembly lane (feels like hundreds of times) and never knew the belt gave a boost holy crap

I love how everyone has different skills and different tracke they find easiest! I gound Dingo Canyon really easy (took the wider cactus cut) and Gingerbread Joyride I did first time (not a lot for some people but I was so happy!) But then Papu's Pyramid took me SO long. I ended up losing flame in the first and third lap, but JUST beat the dev. I don't know what it is about that track, but my flame just VANISHES seemingly randomly. Literally every other track I always know the reason I lost flame haha

I found Crash Cove and Slide Coliseum really easy, too! But Papu's Pyramid and Tiny Area (of all tracks!!) I just really suck at, I found them so hard!

I finished the last one of the dev times yesterday. Some are really easy but some are torture. I will never forget Turbo Track and Out of time. 300+ attempts on both.

Turbo Track took away from me 5hrs and a half of my life. It's still a nightmare thinking about that. I probably wrote that in sections comment something like ten times. Very very hard

Something I don't know is how hard the ps4 exclusive Track is. I only played it a handful of times because it is just a copy of Turbo Track. I played it so rarely that i don't even remember the name. I know that i don't have to do it but i still want to know if it is as hard as Turbo Track or maybe easier by any chance.

Drive Thru Danger Dev Guide We need it.

People made Megamix Mania harder than it needed to be, at least if you’re just trying to beat the dev. Two hops in the mud at the left of the fan and power slide to regain your speed. Took me 13 attempts. Papu’s Pyramid gave me more trouble than that track lol

Lol, same. Only took me 3 attempts to beat megamix. I will admit that it's my favorite track to play by a long shot. The only trouble I had on Megamix is that it lags on lap 2 when the rocket fires of right after the shortcut (playing on Switch). That's probably not the case on Xbox/PS4.

My WumpaLewis: 1. Turbo Track 2. Dragon Mines 3. Crash Cove 4. Slide Coliseum 5.Deep Sea Driving

Top Tier Tracks for me are: 1. Hyper Spaceway (7 hours of effort) 2. Hot Air Skyway 3. Oxide Station 4. Out of Time 5. Drive Thru Danger Easiest: 1. Tiny Arena 2. Inferno Island 3. N. Gin Lab 4. Blizzard Bluff 5. Papu Pyramid

Good list... But Dragon Mines goes into the Hard tier for me. I have an hour long video of me failing repeatedly.

i practically had to take a break a few months back due to the ordeal i had to go through trying to beat those 3 tracks until i finally beat them this week and got my master wheels

Meteor Gorge and Thunderstruck still have unpatched glitch shortcuts that can be used, and Turbo Track and N. Gin Labs possibly do too but I'm not sure if those are legit

By the time you got to the track Thunder Struck, thunder struck on you xD

Me: "Man, this track must be WumpaLewis... I can't even beat N. Tropy on this" Viperian: "This is one of the easiest ones"

So I’m going to have a big hot take here but dragon mines and DSD rank in the easy tier for me. For dragon mines I used drift which allowed for tighter turns and easier maintaining of fire. I also did it with skip intros which makes it more difficult as the first lap minecart before the turbo pad will always hit you unless you go to the right. For DSD i did it in 5 attempts and that’s because I Uturned through the tunnel and would launch myself through the air to maneuver through the fans. I also recommend drift as I never lost flame once using it on this track. Hardest one being turbo track with 279 attempts.

when i learned how to take the minekart shortcut and remembering the rotations of the blades, i pretty much cleared dragon mines and deep sea driving in a few attempts

The first Circuit you put it in your list of third wumpa as difficult

Clockwork wumpa in easy? I’ve spent 4 days doing that track and still no closer to beating it 😂😂

I agree. It's actually one of the harder ones and I tried super hard to get 154:91 (not even a second better) but I messed up the third lap a bit. Just wanted to sub 155. 😂 It's quite tight and hard to keep reserves.

Need collect reseve and jump no always drift.

I think it’s obvious why the turbo pads on turbo track doesn’t give you as much reserves as other turbo pads. The point of turbo track is to hit as many turbo pads as you can.

I literally want to give up on these Dev Times. But yet, I've still beaten Crash Cove and Slide Colosseum, and about 11 others. It's really hard trying to give up when I'm like 25% done already.

Don't give up! Crash Cove and Slide Coliseum aren't easy and you've already beaten those ones. But i warn you, watch out for Turbo Track and Megamix Mania. Those ones are super tight. Especially Turbo Track. 😂 Also, Prehistoric Playground isn't easy so good luck with that one too. 👍

@@hatchhyjack honestly, I had little real trouble except Tiny Arena (I just am AWFUL at that track), Papu's Pyramid (only ttrack it feels like flame just vanishes for no reason), Out of Time I just could not seem to get the first lap down to save my life and... Deep Sea Driving... I spent HOURS just trying student strategies and learning as much a I could. Other than the tube I have no idea how I'll ever shave time off that track because everything is so tight 😭😂 All I have left is Turbo Track tomorrow/today which I'm not too worried about :D DSD honestly made me think life I would never complete it though. Brutal.

@@JGrantUK key to DSD is to remember the rotations of the blades. also, if you can beat slide coliseum you can also beat turbo track, but it's still a huge pain to beat

I did not see Koala Carnival here which is way up there.

Honestly, the most difficult ones for me were Turbo Track and Deep Sea Driving, maybe Hyper Spaceway. The rest were pretty manageable. Honorable mention for Spyro Curcuit because I fuking hate that track. Dingo Canyon, N-Gin Labs, Inferno Island, Clockwork Wumpa and Twilight Tour I finished in 1 attempt.

@@lilcoke4069 Well, I love Clockwork Wumpa so maybe that's why 😂 If they didn't fix the invi walls on that track it might have taken me longer. Yeah Turbo Track took me 3 hours too. I hate that track and never want to race there again, ever. Megamix Mania was OK. William P is up to his shenanigans again there but if you know how to do the dirt cut it's not that difficult.

@@IanRB26 I beat Megamix Mania without u turning that dirt shortcut cause I couldn't do it properly. I just hoped and turned. I probably lost half a second or so there without it. 😂 Took me about an hour and I got a 2:04:20, not gonna bother to improve on it cause 420 😎 my best time on Clockwork is 154:91 and I just wanted to sub 155. What's yours? I'm proud I subbed a 119 on Crash Cove, that took a lot of practiced. 😂

@@IanRB26 Also Out of Time took me about 2 hours 😂 that's cause it's such a technical map where a lot can go wrong and I found it hard to keep my reserves. I eventually got lucky and played it safe and managed a 1:54:19 but I could probably shave another second or so off it if I can be bothered. I wish William P. did Inferno Island, not an imposter cause I practiced that map to death and wanted to see a sub 133 or at least sub 134. Kinda disappointed it was a 135:86 or whatever cause I managed a 132:66. 😬

I timed trialed Cove way before the Dev times existed so it wasn't too difficult. I hit a wall at the end of Out of Time but still managed to beat William. So yeah definitely can improve but I'm not really bothered by it too tbh. Hey, maybe if we're lucky they will release William P ghosts due to popular demand 😂 I can already picture WumpaLewis crying and raging if that ever happened 😂

@@StyxYRenegade I reckon. Prehistoric Playground and koala Carnival are super tight. I tired my ass off for a 1:39:56 in Koala Carnival which isn't is less than half a second better then the dev time. Also, roos tubes is kinda tight too. Turbo Track took me 3 hours though. 😂

@@lilcoke4069 I already beat him on all of the CTR tracks, and I already beat Electron, and assembly for the CNK tracks. As for the bonus tracks, I beat him on Koala, MegaMix, and Drive-Thru.
