Anyone have thoughts on spare wheel & tire size being different. Right now, I’m relying on the factory spare setup while running KO2s on 17 inch Method rims. I’m a little worried about the differential and whatever negative consequences the ECU may have in store for me should I use the mismatched spare to get home.

I was under the impression that the aspect ratio was relative to the profile of the tire . The lower the number the smaller the side wall is as in low profile tires . . Maybe I’m wrong or maybe you made this point just in another way . Confusing to say the least . I think a 275 70 on a 17 inch high rim then a 275 65 on a 20 inch rim so on the 17 you have a bigger side wall then the 20 inch rim but same size tire

If planning for possibly adding the AO Big Brake rotors in the future that have -16 mm offset compared to the factory rotor hats - I believe a Black Rhino wheel with a 38mm offset would work best vs a method wheel with a 52mm offset. Is that correct? Would an AO big brake kit with wheels with a 52mm offset even work with the sliding door?

Awesome, we were glad to finally get wheels back in stock! As far as tire pressure, it is somewhat dependant on the conditions. I would start by airing down to about 20-25psi. If you're really struggling with tracktion and you're not driving fast, you could go down to 15psi. I wouldn't recommend much lower without beadlocks.

Hey John and Owl, What do you make of the factory recommended tire pressure? I recently had to get recovered from some sand and the mechanic commented on the uneven tread wear on my front tires. He commented that factory pressure for sprinters are wrong and he suggested airing the front tires to max tire psi. While the uneven wear may be a matter of alignment issues, what psi do you guys run your tires for highway use? I’m running BFG KO2s on Rhino wheels. Cheers.
