reason why i dont buy an APU because I'm broke. Its cheaper to buy a stand alone graphics (low spec)/cpu while having more performance

I've used this Cpu(Replaces a i5 2500k with and r9 380) in a pc I just built with 32gb of memory the only problem(up to now, touch wood)was one of the sticks of ram didn't work, sent it back and got a replacement the next day. so happy with what I've got thanks guys

Since the ASRock PG Velocita has Integrated AMD Radeon™ Vega Series Graphics in Ryzen Series support. Would this combo get better benchmarks? Great job guys!!

i recently upgraded my CPU from the 3400g to the 5600x. honestly these 5000 series CPUs are beasts, better than 11th gen from intel in my opinion.

When I built my Ryen 7 5700G last August when it was releast my Cinebench scores were around 10300 but with 2 new updates for AMD chipset drivers my scores are now over 16000. I am not bothered by the GPU wars and will not be for years to come. Thanks for the video.

Dude, I have a laptop with the 7 5700 g chip, IT LAGS UNPLAYABLE IN MINECRAFT. Do you have the same issue, and I had to turn it to low settings to make it close to play able and there was still lag

I want that AMD should launch Ryzen 9 APU, that can run any game in 1080P Ultra, with 60+ FPS so that GPU will never be needed, pricing will be high but that is ok considering the amount of gaming performance we'll get from Those Ryzen 9 APU🔥

Great Video now to System Builders we have an apu the gives great results when pair with the right speed of DDR 4 ram.

Love how you installed cpu cooler wrong at 1st. If it's one thing I know about Montec......that triangle is not meant to but upside down. lol

June 2022 I followed this build and it can run AAA games smoothly at 1080p lowest resolution... Not bad for an APU

Thank you guys for this video. I really appreciate the parts list. Were you able to make that TeamGroup memory run at 3600 MHz?? In my case it got stuck at 2400MHz. I've checked the TeamGroup support page and I've changed every possible memory setting in the BIOS with no luck so far.

Check CPU-Z values for 3600MHz CL and voltages. I’m running 4000MHz RAM, and it took me forever to break past 3773MHz until I upped my XMP profile up to 1.4V.

Regarding cases for this build: If you're not interested in RGB lighting, what would be a good recommendation for a case that would come in at less than the $80 price point offered on the Musetex ? My main concerns are cable management, ease of access for building and upgrading, and enough space to add a good GPU down the line somewhere. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I was under the impression that the 5600g and 5700g apus were limited to pci 3.0, so even with a B550 board you're limited to 3.0 or do I have bad info?

What's a good graphics card to save up to pair with this? I'm building one but still don't have the budget for a dedicated GPU, so what's a good enough GPU for video editing (motion graphics, 4k editing, etc.) ?

im building it rn. it was a little over 900 bucks. no gpu. you should look into it. and plus thats with SUPER good parts. better parts than in the video lol

I'ved rocked this apu for almost 3 years i can say its amazing the apu allows me to que in apex and play it really well given everything is in low but i also get simple vid editing done in the apu now i added a gpu and everything is just running at high with stable frames trully an amazing cpu from amd

I have that CPU paired with tuf gaming x570 Plus motherboard, and I got that motherboard for $50 because it was an open box at micro center lol I had a streak of good luck recently especially with that motherboard. Moral of the story is I recommend the CPU especially if you can pair it with a 570 board.

I have a similar build. Ryzen 5600g, Asrock B550M-HDV, G.Skill 3600 MHz CL18 32 GB memory kit, ID-COOLING SE-224-XTS "220 w" air cooler, Deepcool case with 4 fans. SSD & HDD from previous build. 45 fps in Unigine Valley 1080p medium benchmark with PBO and memory tuning. Almost 9000 points in geekbench 6 multicore.

using that after market cooler, does it have enough space for 4 rams in it?

I have gotten this at a good price to replace my r5 1600, I haven't installed it yet, I am looking at cooler options to replace my current deepcool gammax gte v2 180tdp air cooler. I am not planning on using the on board graphics unless my rx590 dies (prices are still too high to replace it yet). My motherboard is a 2018 version of the Asus Rog Strix B450-F Gaming with bios fully up-to-date.

Building my son a gaming pc so this apu seems like a great option. This would be my first attempt at a pc build. Just a question, what gpu would be a good upgrade for later on as we save up? Thanks👍🏼

The stock cooler does a pretty good job. Kyle(BitWit) tested the same APU with the stock Wraith Spire and maxed out at about 60c. It might not be as quiet as this cooler, though.

I have the ryzen 7-5700,g in a ga-b450m d3h board m-atx wi-fi board. Needed latest bios upgrade 3600 hrtz ram is a sweet spot. 1 nvem slot with 1 tb 2280 card. 1 tb 2.5 ssd drive. Added a gtx 1060 card , 500 watt psu, power of to windows 11 boot less than 45 seconds. Going to try a gigabyte motherboard 550 dh3 model , video great thanks.

What I find interesting is that the graphics base of the games is still something equivalent to the radeon R7 360 that last until today. They arrived in June 2015 and are now the GPU embedded in APUs. And current games still run perfectly on these video cards. What is perhaps happening is a maturation of the producers in not doing very heavy things these days. And also the technological level has reached its physical limit. What they do now is insert videos in current processors to sell.... if we compare an FX and a ryzen we have little evolution. Ryzen consume less energy but the performance of both is very close. I used an Atlhon 64 x2 computer for over 9 years....because I realized that the phenom were very close. The same is happening with FX and ryzen. The next technological leap may be in the Ryzen 7000 series yet to come. Several factors are causing AMD and intel to insert something extra in their processors to sell.....the market is narrowing and there is no longer any reason to buy video cards that are expensive, noisy, and consume a lot of energy. unnecessary because distributors do not care about energy efficiency....they are falling behind in this regard. This is good because the tendency is for pcs to decrease in size and be more efficient. Less energy consumption is the great goal of humanity and also efficiency. Video card distributors in my humble opinion will disappear soon.,...

Look for one with flash BIOS button ,so you dont need a 3000 series processor and ram installed for the BIOS update

This video is what made me pull the trigger on the 5700G, it’s here beside me as we speak along with a Samsung 1tb NVMe drive, it will be going in a asus rog strix b550-F along with 3600mhz 8x2 Corsair pro rgb ram, corsair 750w rgb psu, nzxt aio kraken 53 rgb👍 also, will I need a bios update to turn it on? Is actually between 3700x to 11400 level, u can check out gamer nexus’ benchmark video to see how it exactly performs with/without a gpu

Can this power two 4K monitors @60Hz ? On the AMD page, it says it supports: Display Port(Yes), HDMI(Yes). But no version is mentioned.

man I bought everything here & is attempting to do my first build, followed the cooler & fan video install & then i noticed on the finished product the cooler & fan are turned the other way...smh! Now i'm lost! i guess i gonna have to take it back out, take of thermal paste & reapply thermal paste & turn the cooler around?

Have you updated the BIOS on b550 to fit 5700g or was it already working for that?

3000mhz is alright, is not very fast but good enough even if that’s a ryzen cpu, since most of the times u will see if ryzen prebuilts with 3200mhz ram

Wait for the 6000G series, they're gonna have RDNA2, 1060 performance

does the ryzen 7 5700g use the same bios as ryzen 9 5950x and would it work if i upgrade or not

i'll wait for amd to release rdna to their APUs

Whatever you can buy right now. I would suggest at least RTX 2060.

Dumb question: What monitor, motherboard type and cable type is required to output 1440p 144hz on the Ryzen 7 5700g solely for the APU/ integrated graphics not dedicated graphics?

Wouldn't rather sacrifice the money with mobo and psu if you went gen 3 on ssd, and rather have better memory for the current state, probably the first upgrade would be the gpu, so the psu and added gpu, so at the end would be equal result, but until the upgrade, the performance would be better with better memory?
