Im a relativity new subscriber to the channel, i don't normally subscribe to coarse fishing channels now being a Salmon and Seatrout game angler but i grew ip coarse fishing and in between game seasons fished my local Ribble for big girl Pike and early season whiskers so relate to the thread. What draws me though is your enthusiasm and honestly in your fishing. Whilst i love watching people catch fish the reality is we blank a lot of the time so you produce honest balanced content but do so with drive and enthusiasm. Thank you and keep it up!

That was a really nice barbel mate and a belter of a pike. Sometimes they do just pick the bait up and hold it in the front of their mouth don't they, I've had loads of dropped bites and some which seem like there's an eel nibbling at the bait but turns out it's a decent size pike.

Omg great pike on the Trent .that's why we do it...

my first pike trip tomorrow of the winter, just a local pool so lets hope. im useing dead bait dace as im not a fan of sea baits.

Legend! Other than the rare pot luck chances, only putting the time and effort into it gets you fish like that! Great fish mate! You mentioned night fishing for them? What’s your experience or opinion on night fishing for pike? I have caught a few times but probably only 2/3 times out of 10, ironically I’m lakeside right now bivvied up for the night and tomorrow 🤞🙏

cracking pike wonder if the one i was chasing meny years ago ona canal was around that size kept catching mid teen carp with fresh bite marks almost full width of the fish tryed a few times with lures deadbait and a few big live roach and never hooked into anything much bigger than around 8ib did manage a few 3ib perch on the live bait which was a welcomed by catch
