What would you like me to go through in the last day before preparation? Last minute requests? : ) Good luck revising, everyone, you can do it! : )

6 marker on forces/momentum question, how you would approach/answer that style of question, like that 6 marker in the 2022 paper please?

If I used stefans law for luminosity, is it equivalent to say the base units are m^2 K^4 ?
@laurenellison7592
Жыл бұрын
No, because stefan's constant also has units which you need to take into account. This will be in your data booklet most likely.
@Obevna

Stefan's constant has units Wm^-2K^-4, which cancel out the others and you'd get the S.I base units of W left.

@@laurenellison7592completely forgot about that, thanks!
What are units such as Joule and Coulomb called then? Are they known as derived units as well
@zhelyo_physics
2 ай бұрын
yes. They are derived, not base units. They are standard units though or SI units. Hope this helps!
At 1:45 you wrote density= kg/m-³ but wherever I go they say its kg/m³. Please elaborate for me.

I wrote kgm^-3 which is equivalent to kg/m^3. Hope this helps!
What does “cd” represent its on the top left of the white board

candela, its a unit of light/luminous intensity

yep! We tend to not to use it in A Level Physics but it is a base unit too.

Just started this so please bear w me. For resistance, I've never learnt a formula that says a volt could become kgm^2A^-1. Am I supposed to just memorise some of these?
@zhelyo_physics
10 күн бұрын
no need to memorise, you can usually derive it : )
For Capacitance would the S not be S-2 since S/S*3 correct me if I am wrong.

That's what I thought but its s^{-3} in the denominator, its just hard to see what the wrote.
@zhelyo_physics
Жыл бұрын
Yep, it's s(-3) in the denominator, therefore s/s(-3) gives us s^4. Hope this helps!
My criticism would be to use different colours to break it up visually for people I'am a artist learning maths lol just noticed a lot of videos do need better presentation to suit all learners.

Is all of circular motion and simple harmonic and oscillations in radians?? On calc
@zhelyo_physics
Жыл бұрын
depends on the question, but only x=acos(wt) and x=asin(wt) are in radians. The rest only if the question gives you values in radians or you have to find the arclength using s=rtheta

OMG I accidentally disliked! So sorry, I love your videos truly
Base units are not derived units.
