Also, didn’t they do a patch that makes it so Vargs aren’t 100% guaranteed in hunts anymore while rifts are open? I’m not quite certain but I think I remember this change

IIRC the note in the video is correct but maybe I missed an update... if you have already killed a possessed varg in the current 3 boss cycle then you aren't guaranteed to get a varg, lmk if that's different:)

A fair warning for anyone reading this, fight Armored Bearger AWAY from coasts. If you she hits you too close to a coast, it's a death sentence, as you'll be stuck on the coast while she endlessly slashes you.

For the ice crystaleyezer, you could build a bunch of scaled furnace in its radius to essentially achieve constant temperature all year round. It's a bit resource intensive and requires a specific base design, but it's a permanent solution to freezing/overheating in the base.

Do you have some testing to back this up? IIRC furnaces have a tiny heat radius so you'd need lots of furnaces to mitigate the entire cold radius of the ice crystaleyezer

Careful what you wish for. Klei will give us a heat equivalent of the Crystalliser to make your idea functional, but we'll have to kill the new "Irradiated Dragonfly" boss to get it.

Next they add shadow possessed bosses like shaded antlion, dark dragonfly, & corrupted moose/goose.

I love that Klei continues to experiment with interesting fight patterns (and fight rewards) for new bosses/enemies. Special shoutout to Deerclops physically ripping icicles from her back to throw them at you. Really thorough and clear guide, as always! I thought I knew these mechanics, but I learned approximately one thousand new things.

Personally i feel crystal deerclops is the hardest of the 3, due to the low margin of error of his crystal throw but theyre all solid additions. Theyre all worth it too simply for the infinite ammo blowdart

Bearger is more punishing than deerclops imo his attack pattern is just so easy. Also varg is definitely the hardest of the 3, if fought as intended at least

So if you could force the DC to not despawn until the rift is active This way, you could end the all-bosses speedrun as usual, when the Bearger arrives, just killing him twice Idk, does the new chair for Pearl friendship point allow that at least theoretically?

Are you gonna do an actual gameplay series for this game? Or are you just gonna stream it?

I’ll definitely be cheating this stuff in using the world Gen Settings. I’ve never been able to even beat the fuel weaver. And I haven’t even seen celestial champion in game. So I’m definitely not worried about beating celestial champion. I’m a garbage player on console.

If it does 68 damage the howlitzer needs 10 hounss teeth for 680 damage, 100 will deal 6800 damage

Oops, said wrong values but correct result, 1 dark sword = 1 living log 1 nm fuel, 6800 damage from howlitzer is 100 hounds teeth which is = the hound graphic, ty for pointing that out!

You are supposed to merge all your accounts to one, so you get all rewards on all consoles.

your output is nuts now. It's great!

What I like about these new bosses is how optional they are. I’ve got no interest in them or anything related to the rifts, which only serve to add difficulty for “uncompromising survival” purists who want the late game to be harder. The loot is just armor and weapons you need to deal with all these nuisances. The brightshades are enough of a PITA on their own to make me say no thanks. But you can still play the game and have fun without all that. Love the new skill trees so far, on the other hand.

Wilson will likely become meta with the ability to speedrun Celestial Champion.

It's easier to run between Deerclops legs to avoid her melee attack. It's possible only if you straight down (or straight up) from her

Wouldn't a dark sword/100 hounds teeth in a howlitzer do 6800 damage and not 680?

when you you need to hit bearger with two planar attacks to stun it after a butt slam can you use the brightshade staff to stun?

I think it's a damn shame that the crystaleyezer automatically sets the ambient temperature to -10, if it was just a flat temperature decrease like the way WX-78's heating circuit works it would definitely be a contender for the strongest spark arc craft. I'd definitely still use it, the pros still out way the cons, but juggling hot insulation and cold insulation sounds annoying

It's in the works and they changed some vargs mechanics so I will need to slightly change the design and make sure it works consistently, otherwise it'll probs be after wolfgang boss run with skill tree:)
