Prices seem reasonable and the storage solutions on a pallet seems good value. Nice one Steve, no one ever mentions these sorts of costs but it's all helpful. Well done

The site is almost too big. The facilities are the best we have seen in Spain. Always clean and warm with under floor heating. 👍😀😎

Hi. Just subbed... saw your meet up with bebbsbeat who we follow. So had a look at your channel. And subbed. Loved the story and loved the van. . Found the info on the fridge very interesting. A relative with a motorhome has a problem with his dometic is going to costv2k to replace it. With same. So will send link to your vlog so he can see the compressor fridge... it looks like a way better option.

Yes it looks great there, what organisation does the rallies, I'm in the caravan and Motorhome club, I don't think they do them, thanks, I would imagine you will have to think about returning to freezing UK soon 😮 👍👍👍👍

Looking good.The weather looks amazing compared to how we are over here .I really love your van .I think it's a perfect size .Many people seem to be giving up big motor homes for camping vans and rent properties travelling around which can cost less. Tread the globe just put up a video of their stay in a wonderful place with fantastic people on their way back to UK .Absolutely huge where you ate currently staying .Just incredible really how many people own motor homes and caravans and vans .Loving your hair Wendy.Looking Healthy.How far are you from the beach .Love to see more .Swimming pool ,shops ,gym though seems long walk everywhere which will keep you fit.Be Happy Hugs Pippin x❤

Thank you Susanne We are about 30minute drive from the beach 😔 Alannia is a huge site and yes many people have motorhomes and caravans. It’s more popular in Europe I think ❤️❤️❤️

Hi both watching your videos very informative you make it look so easy travelling around Spain. We have a little dog aswell just wondering how long it took on the channel tunnel as can you recommend any for hiring a camper van for a month . Keep up the good work

Hi Trevor The tunnel takes about half an hour. It’s pretty quick and we just stay sat in our seats. We have never hired a motorhome so don’t really know about it. Best to shop around and look at reviews.

We pre booked on the rally. If you’re not on the caravan and motorhome club rally I _think_ you might be able to just turn up as there seems to be pitches available all over the site. I would recommend prebooking though.

Do the palm trees have scorpions?

Hi We have not heard of any Scorpions being around the palm trees. There are processionary caterpillars in places but we did not see any on this trip 👍😀😎

@@TheHappyTravellers In Arizona, USA, we have scorpions in the trees and in the palms if they are not treated to remove them. Sometimes they drop from the trees, when you are eating under old established trees.

We are on a rally with the Caravan and Motorhome club for 70 nights so we paid £14 a night + electric at €0.40 /Kw I think prices rang up to €30 a nights for short stays. 30 minute drive from Torrevieja and Alicante. Also Elche is a bit closer.

Because we booked for 70 nights on a rally it cost £14 a night. Prices vary depending on length of stay. I think maybe €30 a night for short stay.

We are really happy with the van as it is excellent as a daily car and for holidays. However it’s probably too small for full time living for a couple. We have met a single man who lives full time in the same van and he says it is fine 👍😀☀️ We will update the van next year as we return to full time motorhome life.

How do you get your caravan from England to Spain?

As we have a motorhome we like to take the channel tunnel and drive through France. There are other routes people take on ferries and some go direct to Spain landing in Santander in the North West. It seems daunting at first but it really is very easy to drive in Europe. Much less traffic and bigger roads.
