That was a nice video. In the Netherlands they speak Puch out like ´ Poogh ´. Back in the days i had the same Polini 65cc cilinder , it was a wild cilinder i remember.

In England its called a "pooch" as in a dog !!! 😂
Kinda been waiting to see this.... It looks like it's going to be a ripper
When adjusting ignition points it's not ideal to judge opening by looks. You can make a simple light or a buzz box that will tell you when the points are actually open. If you don't want to do that, you can use a cigarette pack cellophane. You take a small piece of cellophane and place it between the point contacts (when they are fully closed). Pull on the cellophane very lightly as you slowly rotate the flywheel with your other hand. When the points release the cellophane is when they are open. You can also use a matchbook cover as a feeler gauge to set the point gap (it's approximate correct thickness). Also, make sure you adjust the point gap before you adjust the timing/firing position, as making the gap larger or smaller affects when the points open
Wooooo! Keep it up man! Thanks for the shout out! Get a fork brace on that bad boy. The polini e50 is such a great build. This is going to RIPPPPPP
Loud..is good. More Power!! U will get it. Right mr mop. Great job. Old man mop

Such a nice bike sounds great... can't wait to see u mobbin on it
I always like to give a little fun fact: My dad was top salesman for a company in Southern California ..Placentia California to be exact and the company he worked for was called SportMag2 and they manufactured mag wheels mostly for mopeds. They also made wheels for motorcycles , sandrails, and BMX bikes. My mom's little sister was probably 14 or 15 at the time and she got hooked up with magwheels for her Puch and got to be on the cover of one of their catalogs. My dad ended up becoming a partner & one day in probably 1980 the dude Larry (the CEO) called his 20 year old son to the shop and my dad too and as the 3 of them were talking in Larry's office...Larry excused himself to go use the restroom in the machine shop and that's when my dad and Larry's son heard a gunshot. Larry took his own life in the restroom and he used a gun that he (Larry) manufactured himself. He was known to have been a gunsmith and sold some blueprints to Smith and Wesson .. I think this took place on july 20th 1980 or 82..... Ruined some families and the business since he was the main owner and CEO....his wife sold it off and my dad and the other partner pretty much got screwd. The worst thing is that he wanted his son there when he did it for unknown reasons. Dick

Nice video guys! 🔥🔥
Insane build fasho wow soooo tough💪🏼😤
Finally!, have been waiting for this video for a long time :)
I had an old Puch back in 1978. Had a blast with it. Wish I had it now.
yo sick vid man maybe get a race ignition it help a loth with take off here in the Netherlands we use them a lot on puch and Tomos
sick Stuff guys :)
Clean build
Amazing video my man 💯💯💯
i've always wanted a puch man. love the 2 stroke sound
love it, miss times of puch maxi
Good job sounds awesome 👌
Nice work
Am6 derbi will be a nice build series man hope youll do it in the future
Cool moped😊👍🎖
Yes a Temp gauge on a AIR cooled cilinder make Total sense. And nice PUCH Greetz from the Nederlands
Give that man a 75cc italkit e50!
sickkkkk
i used the 64cc polini kit been on there with a 16mm carb hits around 47 mph with a techno expansion pipe and open air cleaner
Also with the flat plate behind the spring plate it will compress the spring plate further and make it hold harder
this dude is hilarious man. you must annoy the hell out of the neighbours with your projects LOL I couldn't stop laughing watching you ride that puch, it's sooooo loud LOOOOOL
Exhaust is wild 😂👌
My 78 puch maxi is basically a ratrodded version of yours. Its fucking awesome!
Oh also a hpi ignition would prob help you more than anything. The mini rotor. Best of luck to you ✌🏻
I would get a small airfilter. And change the ignition. But a sweet ride.. Had a few as a kid
Man I fckin hope I get this new job I’m going for my streetmate got left out in the rain gotta get a few new things nothing crazy just tune up, front rotor rubs (new brake party from treats) new pedals and blinkers or just delete. I need to get er up and running
Where did you get the EBR forks for your blue prebug? Direct from EBR?

I had this puch back in 2001, 80cc was going 100kmH
That's a nice Puch Maxi! I'm new to this channel but have you already had a yamaha aerox, gilera runner or Aprilia SR? They were and probably still are THE sh*t in my country. For mopeds my suggestions are Citta, Tomos and Vespa/piaggio ciao. My dad owned a Kreidler and a Zundapp in his youth, also very cool small engine bikes to check out 👍
You may want to do a ktm clutch swap to do wheelies very well. And you want a smaller main gear on the case.
boys in Denmark love mopeds but the mopeds in the us is much more different cuz in Denmark they ride like pgo hot 50, Yamaha jog r, jog as/fs or puch maxi and I just think if the mopeds some boys make in Denmark would blow away Americans (almost every moped can go 170 km/t and its supposed to only go 30 km/t so if u cold make a really fast maybe jog as (the jog u already have) I would enjoy watching. thanks.😁😁
God did
But you def want to use the softest springs you have. Bc you want them to engage quickly. Stiff springs don’t engage till you’re higher in the rpm’s.
Tuned my moped with an 69ccm engine 😈😈😈
the clutch must be dry then?
Would be insane to see you build a Gilera Runner 180cc. Probably hard for you to get one though.

Nice Jopa barpad by the way haha, thats an mx clothing company here in The Netherlands
More timing will also cool down the exhaust bc more fuel will burn in the cylinder and not in the pipe
The clutch needs the flat plate against it on the outside of the clutch will wear out if the spring plate is riding against it
Are puchs, or mofas for that matter, common in the US? I'm kinda surprised to see a puch in that setting.
build the piaggio ciao bro🔥🔥🔥🔥
pls put the light in the middle it will look much better
It might like more timing like 30°
64 Cc good🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
You should have a few C Cs of Castrol 2 stroke oil into the barral , then put the plug in , that cylinder was bone dry .

Consider a hpi or mvt ignition. Alot lighter flywheel :)
👍🏻
Exaust name ? Or type
should have gone with the 74cc and hpi or mvt ignition
buy a MVT ignition it ads a lot more power and more
A little late to the party but. Sound like the clutch is kicking in too early. Might need some stiffer springs. It'll help a lot with acceleration, since the engine doesn't have any downlow power. You also might have to retard the timing to 14-16 deg before TDC, other with you'll overheat and seize the cylinder.
SHOULD HAVE FOLDING FOOTPEGS AND PUT IN UP POSITION STARTING SOMEONES TOOK OFF SHOVED POLE THROUGH MANY PEGS AVAILABLE STANDARD TO CUSTOM ON EBAY ALONE
50.1 oil ratio
Give this man a simson s51 or a yamaha jog r
I have 2 of these ! Anyone need parts ? lol one came with a full rebuilt bottom end on the motor i wanna put a pipe on one
take your safety sliders off it,ll kick first time
That’s like the worst cable routing for the throttle, but sick bike otherwise!
