Hey i found out that if you have no bullets in your mag, you reload faster than if you only had 1 bullet remaining

Currently one of the only diamond in TA. I use medium shotgun solely. If there are any tips that I can give: - Play low ground. - calm and collected, flash flicks are never more effective than someone that has a smooth aim. - Never stand out in the open or in large corridors. The shotgun excels when played with cover - Trigger discipline. Whats worse? Panicking and Missing your shot and dying, or taking a few hits but making sure your shot hits.

Thanks you and yea this weapon slowly became my favorite the more I started using it. Oh yea! Almost forgot the moment I popped 3 enemies back to back I was hooked, no weapon I’ve played with so far has given me that level of satisfaction!

Okay i just watched this video, did about 3 minutes of practice range, then went and played. Got 13 eliminations in quick cash, 6 were in the very first life. and even got a solo team wipe with 7 total shells. Crazy how much this helped. Just focusing on aiming smooth and only hip firing does wonders.

Yes, you can but if you don’t have teammates for distraction or cover fire. It is difficult to consistently close gaps in some maps. So yes, it very viable in ranked. However needs a team to reach its maximum potential in every map.

Another tip that wasn’t mentioned that I just figured out in the practice range trying what u said: u can melee right after a shot with no downside. The animation of the shell popping out cancels your melee animation so u can shoot again at max fire rate but still get the melee damage

I gotta say it, you dont see this kind of production and editing in your general Finals video (except the trailers lol), its very enjoyable to watch, and extremely well done. Something that i would've added is that against lights its a good thing to get closer so you can meatshot him and inmediatly quick melee them, that way you have 5 shots in reserve instead of 4, giving you more opportunities on the rest of the fight (and making it a little less punishing if you miss a shot afterwards), also killing a light this way is faster and you can prevent the potential of receiving more damage or to escape quicker if you need to.

How the fuck don't you have at least 50k subs, the production quality of this video is insane. Thanks for this video!

great masterclass, i love you so much man i stopped using the model because i found it hard to track opponents due to low frames per second, but ill try to move past that and just firm the lag and still use this weapon!

4:09 I’ve been playing alot of revolver aggressively but I feel like it just doesn’t preform how I want it to at range so I might as well swap to the 1887 since I’ll be playing similarly and I’ll get a boost in consistency and won’t have to ads as often up close. Thanks for all the tips!

I do agree revolver is currently one of the hardest weapons to master. It has slightly more range than the 1887, but is not as lenient and demands pin point accuracy to be effective in the meta. At this time 1887 is the better choice in most scenarios, however I suspect there will be a buff soon being that this weapon has not been touched since the first season. (Hopefully)

Crazy editing and solid advice, this has been my favorite weapon since the beta. Landing those shots feel wicked and mastering the mediums movement items feel equally rewarding 😭😭 my loadout is Dematerializer, 1887, pyro grenade, pumppad and zipline (healing beam and defib when I’m playing tournament) - pyro helps a lot for those reload times u mentioned ! Zone off doorways to buy a bit of time, or get some finishing damage in if you whiffed a shot or two

My favourite weapon. Most of the time my loadout is dematerializer, 1887, gas mines jumpad and defib. Mines are amazing with 1887 because you can destroy them in one shot.

id recommend using a third party crosshair software. it makes tracking alot easier since its static and im pretty sure it cant get you banned. i personally use crosshair v2 because the dot is good enough.

My make or break for this weapon is yee haw skin. Used it in beta, absolutely slapped with it, then turned out skins dont travel trough beta - full release (my leftover cash stayed tho lmao), so one day maybe ill buy it and make kingdom come, butfor now, mostly melees

Step one: get skin without awkward chambering animations. Step two: hit every shot.

I really like the KS23 this season, being that it is not as hard to use now and satisfying as hell. But as for pure damage output and ease of use, SA1219 for sure in ranked! That may very change in the near future, if they end up giving the KS23 a very slight buff or if the SA1219 gets nerfed (which is more likely 😞) .

It’s mostly skill, I had a love hate relationship with this gun but it’s my most used now it’s really satisfying going against other model 1887 users knowing you got the upper hand 😂

How do you spot enemies in cover or in smoke/gas? I've been applying your tips before every session of THE FINALS, and the one thing I struggle with the most is finding the enemy in the first place. I can't really spot enemies through smoke or gas (and if I do, I normally miss, or I find their location cuz they started shooting at me first). This leads to a lot of embarrasing and fast deaths. How do you fix or avoid this?

That’s a good question and I understand where your coming. Being that most of my graphic settings are low seeing enemies through debris, gas, or glare is damn near impossible. So the way I find targets is to always gain high ground and try my best to minimize the amount of angles the enemy can shoot me from. Then waiting for activity to determine a location before engaging. If gaining high ground is not possible, relying on sound is absolutely important. It can tell you if there is an invis near by, if the enemy is above you or in the room adjacent to you by simply hearing footsteps that are not your teammates. Also getting caught off guard happens to the best of us, but you can use jump pad to break line of site or Dematerializer to open a pathway and close it behind you. Hope this helps!

I recently reached level 7 with the MGL-32 and I asked both Ottr and Thiixy if they would play it and they both told me I am insane but I am very intent that this weapon is a sleeper, you think a masterclass guide on it would be possible?

I thought it was very viable before the most recent nerf (which was not needed imo). I don’t subscribe to a weapon being useless if it can’t frag out, with the right team utility and comp it is insanely hard to counter especially if you’re defending a cash out. If you combine the reworked glitch mine with it and position appropriately it would be damn near impossible to steal. Also I am waiting till the weapon’s balancing to be consistent for at least a couple of weeks so that I can make a guide and be confident that it will have some sort of longevity. Rest assure though, it will be done!

Model 1887 is really that good? I have no doubt on the damage, but when they "patched" cancel reload with the weapons wheel, is hard to cancel to shoot players that appears suddenly in front of you, reload is slow. Also, sometimes the shells don't updates correctly on the HUD when you reload

how do you get the "flip" animation?

Could it be that it's possible to cancel the reload animation anytime since season 3? Felt like that in the shooting range

I rreaaallllyyyy want to, but after the nerfs to the LH1 and throwing knives, I have a feeling this will fill that power vacuum especially if they are balancing around terminal attack 😕. So I want to wait 1-2 weeks before really diving into making a guide to make sure there aren’t any substantial nerfs to the weapon, that will change its core mechanics.

This gun needs a buff, reload time, reload cancel, 7,8 shots in the chamber, and also more reload animations.

No sometimes it disappears, just restart the practice range instance. Hope this helps!

TL;DR: -Stop flicking, you're not Aceu. Tracking is better. -Smoother=faster=better -Close the distance between you and your target. -It's a 6 shooter that reloads slowly. Be conservative with ammo. -melee cancel to shoot mid reload if necessary. -Movement gadgets help.

@HazedNConfused for me I kinda like it as a reference for if at least SOME pellets are gonna hit. Perfect example of this is reaper from overwatch. It's super helpful for lining up shots. Honestly if finals gets crosshairstyle customization like overwatch that would be so perfect.
