Jessica D., UMA’s Summer True Blue Alum, tells us what it’s like to be a student at Ultimate Medical Academy. She also talks about how her children motivated her to go back to school and succeed, and why she chose the field of Medical Administrative Assistant. What inspired me to go back to school was my kids. I wanted to show them that anybody could go back to school no matter what. I think it inspired my daughter to do better and that's who I really wanted to inspire was my daughter. I love my program, it was challenging, it kept me interested, kept me motivated to keep going because I wanted to see, well, what’s this next class going to be like? What’s this class going to be like? I wanted to be in the business side of the medical industry. I wanted to learn the billing and the coding and all that stuff that’s behind the scenes that people don’t get to see. I like that kind of stuff. My instructors were awesome. They worked with me really well, and my advisors here at UMA-I love my advisors. They were so helpful and so friendly. I want to say thank you so much for all your help that you’ve done for me.
