Great idea for baked potatoes, I used spring onions instead of chives

We made baked potatoes at my daughters last night, I usually microwave them for 10-15 minutes then oil and salt them before placing them in a very hot 450°f oven until the skin is crisp and the tater is cooked through.. I loaded mine with cheese before covering it with chili and more cheese.. This is a very tasty looking/sounding dish!

I came for the food, stayed for the brogue, the views of thr country,lovely combination.😁❤️💕

You can cook the bacon in a separate pan in the oven with the potatoes. About 12-15 minutes at the same temperature, and it cooks evenly and stays flat. Give it a try 🙂

I haven't seen this channel before but seeing that potato bake on the thumbnail instantly made my mouth water and I had to click on the video and subscribe. Looks delicious, I'm definitely trying this.

I've made this as a potato salad to go with smoked brisket or ribs. I would add a couple of pats of butter in the bottom of the dish so it wouldn't stick.

I would love this as a main dish with a green salad. Looks scrumptious ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

The first time I ever had a loaded baked potato was in Edinburgh in 1980 prior to my second cousins wedding. Happy memories.

Added corned beef to mine and served with baked beans. Really warming comfort food for winter. Thankyou.

You can substitute ham/gammon for the bacon if you like. It's a great way to use some leftover ham.

Love this recipe! I usually have these ingredients on hand. No need to run to store!

I tried this, however I peeled the potatoes, kept the skins and fried them so they were crispy, roasted the potatoes so they were crunchy. Then baked it as Cheryl demonstrated, absolutely gorgeous.
