@@sevim0808? Mounted AI are always in the same place, if youre half decent at tarkov you check every single one of them each time youre close to or in the water treatment plant. Ground rogues arent always in the same place, therefore being more difficult to kill.

I am trying to be optimistic, so I will say something nice about Lighthouse. Lighthouse is one of the Tarkov maps of all time.

Finally had to get around to actually learning how to deal with the rogues, big help Papa Pest. Thanks!

SCAV runs on this map I get out with over 600k regularly! The LEDX craft does spawn on the table, virtex and COFDM in the broken boxes and in the tent on building 2 roof. Also - the rogues CAN have Blue Folders on them (I learnt that the other day).

Okay so I think I figured out the whole offline bad loot thing. I heard BSG alters the loot depending on how many PMC's are in the raid. I guess it's to counter people joining raids in dead servers in dead hours getting full map loot with only a few people there. So when you're in a offline raid your the only pmc and so the loot is made for only 1 pmc? This is my best guess tho...

Great map of you're into PvP. If not it's a great Scav map.

For that northernmost spawn, you actually have an advantage early in the morning when the sun is low. That entire corner will be in shadow and you'll be very difficult to see from the top of the hill.

What I learned doing punisher 4 is that each spawn essentially has a spawn they can grief, and a spawn they can get griefed by. Learning to maximize how many days you can ruin and how to not die to the spawn with an advantage on you makes this map atleast…playable?

I hope this guide lets me play the map 😭

it blows my mind that scavs still go to water treatment, i find so much loot in the chalets bc pmcs dont even loot it

27:30 I forget if it was a scav or pmc but a few raids I haven't had the option to extract Path to Shoreline this wipe. Like I assumed I had the extract and when I got there it wouldnt let me, checked, and I never had it to begin with.

Does anyone know whether BSG officially went back on their initial promise of having a fully connected 'whole' map of Tarkov?

quick question, if you make it out to the lighthouse and someone shoots you first can you defend yourself like scav karma rules or is it just a straight up no fighting in any way on the island?

just an FYI, the spot at 34:40 where Pestily just swings around the corner under the pipes and follows the wall to a gap in it? Yeah its not safe there. Got lit up by a rogue on a machine gun and died. Idk if this is common knowledge or not I'm learning lighthouse for the first time.

You're usually safe there, and it couldn't have been from a machine gun. Must have been bad RNG and rogues roaming around the area, they can spawn at the very first floor of that building closest to him. Building 3 I think? They could theoretically shoot you through the doorway in the fence I guess. I've had them rush me through there as I get closer, but never had them shoot me through it from that distance. I'd chalk that up to extremely bad luck.

Do Rogues spawn offline to practice fighting them?

I’m USEC and have been blasted by the rogues several times making the path you said. I’m certain it’s a bug but is anyone else getting the same thing as USEC?

Lighthouse is a sniper map first and foremost. Play it as such and you just might have a better time. Probably not 🤣 but maybe worth the effort. And I don't necessarily mean you have to be a sniper, although that is best IMO but rather just know that you are surrounded by snipers pretty much at all times.

how tf did you get the bird perspective flight camera thing around the extract? blender?

I think the devs gave his team access to an account that has some camera options unlocked to help with making videos. Though I know that account is limited to just offline raids.

Why they don’t add a boat extract at the island?

Lighthouse made me break my headset

watched the hole thing in queue.

The most fun i had on lighthouse was killing zryachiy 15 times for the achievement and learning the landmines and making it across and back without dying. Took me a couple days but it was nice to take a break from tasks. i always wonder how many times i got reported for having the lightkeeper achievement so early into wipe

Bear was a bad choice for me. That land mine spawn is pretty much a troll spawn

I don't know why people hate lighthouse. Sure, it's a very small map that only has the Chalet area and Village, and definitely nothing else besides that, but at least it doesn't have a bunch of cracked but easily cheesable AI guarding an area with annoying quests (riddled with buggy zoning), surrounded by terrible mine placement.

I love that map but I get spawn camped like 80% of the time. I just need to learn the spawns more I guess.

Could anyone give me a quick info about how TF am I supposed to do Assesment part 1 on this map? I am pretty okay at PVP and stupidly rich from all the crypto trading with maxed traders 'n stuff but I just can't reliably find players. I refuse to cheese this.

Why would they implement a game mechanic that makes the dozens of quests on lighthouse significantly harder for bears? And then we have to kill 20 bears around lighthouse? Pain

You can get out to the lighthouse before you get the quest but involves a high powered sniper, killing 4 waves (or a 4 man sync kill) of rogue spawns and a very tight gauntlet to trip the c4 on the bridge all while aleting the whole map your on the bridge but the profit is well worth it so it wasn't just cheaters who could get on the main island.

god they need to make the players scavs not spawn in 1 minute in :/

Can’t play anywhere except streets anymore. Feels like a perfect balance of size/amount of players. Nice amount of pathing, one can pretty much choose every fight, not a lot of maps give this amount of freedom.

@@PuzoniCyclo Woods were my favoirite map last 1-3 vipes. It also gives a lot of freedom, i just hate maps like customs that force you into choke points. In learning streets it really helps to divide a map in 6 squares. Factory, Concordia, Pinewood, School, Cardinal and Klimov mall. Once you get that and how they are connected you can move freely.

@@Psydvckthefirst exactly, woods is so free with little to none movement restrictions. And agreed, while I don't hate customs, I hate how 'fixed' the map is in a sense. And yeah I ran streets 3 times yesterday and got pop census, dangerous road, the delicious sausage and broadcast part 2 all done yesterday... I'm level 37 and still have audit 😭😭

Pest failing to talk about Fish Huts defeats the whole "beginner" part of the title. One of the most high-kill high-risk places. Guessing he likes the free Lighthouse kills like all the other chads. It's okay for them because they don't post "guide" videos on KZread.

this map is only "good" if you are a scav main, as PMC, especially bear, the map is nothing but a pain in the ass. its design has so many flaws of which the spawns are the biggest problem. never understood who thought the concept of the map is good for PVP.
