ULTIMATE LARGE SCALE RC TRIO: Handley Page Victor, Avro Lancaster and Avro Vulcan XH558
Individually these large models would be a treat but flown together this was a big highlight of the show. Enjoy !

Of course... the Valiant needs to be part of that formation! What a GREAT display of formation flying! Changing the lead airplane on each pass. That was fun!!! And what great airmanship. Very impressive!

Fabulous, the first time I saw models in this sort of scale I was amazed that once they are in the air with nothing to compare scale against they look so realistic and in the case of jet powered sound realistic too. I always set playback speed to half which gives an even more realistic effect and twice the viewing time as a bonus. Thank you for posting, thank you to those in the hobby keeping the memory of these old birds alive as today's RAF don't seem to have the money nowadays to preserve them even as gate guardians. Liked and subscribed.

Does anyone know when the Victor will next be flying in UK ? I showed this video to a friend of mine, a retired RAF Victor pilot, and it turns out that he flew the full-sized HX672 a few times in the 80’s I’d love to offer him the chance of seeing the model.

I spent a lot of weekends in the Victor hangar at Park Street, courtesy of the HP employees flying club ,they had an Auster kept in the front corner. Dad worked on the Victor and would have known your grandfather . Times have changed , small boys can't wander around inspecting the nations nuclear deterent these days.

Not knocking it, but the Victor never looked like it could actually fly in real life. It looks like something that was constructed in Kerbal Space Program, but then again so does the F-4 Phantom.

Fantastic models and outstanding flying skills. I’m in complete admiration for all the modellers and their attention to detail. However the planes ‘flit around’ the sky like small fighters; isn’t it possible to slow down the actuators and flight controls in some way? Also taking off/landing on grass doesn’t help. The part of the video that was in slow motion was more realistic.

adorable ! Am I in error ? The Victor take off without flaps set, but landed with flaps operating ? The display is what we in german call an "Augenschmaus". I didn´t find a translation that fits the meaning in my german, may be it´s something like "eyes delight" ???

Wouldn't it be cool if you could mount a tiny 4K camera in the nose and view it in real time... Have the camera synced to a pair of VR goggles and experience the flight as if you were in the cockpit... I think that would be awesome! You can see yourself as you do flybys and capture the crowds reaction on video at the same time... I don't think it would take too much to make this happen... Maybe someday... Just food for thought... Stay safe... Rico
