Taylor is 6th in the NCAA All-Time rushing yards in a career and got drafted in the 2nd round. I can’t even comprehend how that happens...

The Indianapolis Colts found a running back who could support Marlon Mack and form a double-headed monster in the backfield.

@@AtillatheHun talent wise he definitely still is I believe. However he isn't being used. He gets better as game goes on and they don't use him. Also when he's on the one, for any of their backs, they are stupid and do counters and draws and by the time taylor gets the ball the d is in backfield. He had a great starting half and did great before the bye. But hines obviously is the most talented on the colts, wilkins isn't better than taylor. Just gets more opportunities

Check out this run at 5:45 the guys speed is not talked about enough. I'm sorry but jk dobbins cant do this. Taylor's combination of balance, power, vision/ patience , cutbacks , and top end speed is crazy. Hes not quite as explosive as deandre swift but I think hes a better all around back. I think he'll surprise people with his pass catching ability too.

He slipped because other teams valued the other positions ahead of RB. Edwards-Helaire was the only rb drafted in rd1 at #32.

Colts knew what they were doing when they traded up for this guy so many teams didn't do there reasearch on taylor and it bite them in the arse. JT is a top 5 back and will be the best back this upcoming year once again.

Jonathan Taylor has "Decent" Ball Carrier Vision, but he can't break a long run for 50 yards. Most of his TD's come near the goal line. Think about Saquon Barkley, Christian McCaffrey, Barry Sanders, Walter Payton, or to be more lenient Derrell Henderson & Phillip Lindsay.

Not since the late 90's,and early 2000's,the colts aren't afraid of top athletic first round type talent. Got tired of hearing,he's not the best,but he has character. Great role model for kids,and the city...whatever. Some in town called Edgerin a thug because of his gold teeth, how did that pick work out? Thanks GM Ballard ,for taking mayberry out of indy ,and taking us to the big leagues.
