I had a Jack Russell once. Was Poison by a so-called friend he had just turned 9 years old. Such a sad day for me and still is. And that happened in 2012 and I still haven't gotten over him. Their so human-like. They're the top dog for me

Your friend was definitely not to be trusted around any animal. I’m so sorry for you. They are the brashest breed that was ever created but they love you in so many ways. It’s hard to lose our furry animal family members but to have someone pronounce a death sentence is inexcusable. I have loved and lost 2 furries execution style and those who did it will NEVER be forgiven. Take care my friend.

I love my JRT. So smart and energetic. They have there daily system and don't like things changing too much. They create habits. They are affectionate, loyal and protective. They have all the beautiful qualities hard to find in humans. Could never own another dog type, and that's coming from someone who always loved big dogs. Anyone reading this who is thinking about owning a JRT, just do it. You won't regret it.

That throwing the ball downstairs is a lifesaver for a JRT that hasn’t been out that day ❤️

1 year update. Charlie is my best friend. He has changed my life, I can't express enough how loyal and willing to please these breeds are, full of energy and love and insanity. Routine is the key, and butt scratches.

That little sneeze at 1:50 is a jack russels way of showing that they are having fun, so despite the teeth and the growls, this little chappie is loving every minute of it and means no harm at all.

My sweet little Jack is 14 1/2 y/o. He lost one eye when it became blind and infected. I love my fella more than anything. I spend all my day with him.Hate going out and leaving him. He's very well behaved And the best companion any one could wish for. Treat them with respect because they're worthy.

We have two of these little buggers ! They are an endless source of entertainment and mischievous behaviour ! They can be so loving and yet so naughty!

I stayed at my aunt & uncle's house in the country in 1981, they had 2 Jack Russells, called Bonnie and Lizzie, they were adorable, i'll never forget them.

I have a 14year old jack Russell and also have 3 kids,he is the most loving caring friend ever. Such a misunderstood breed. People avoid him because he shows his teeth but he gives everyone he sees a big gummy smile

definitely one of a kind dogs. Got my pup when was 3 months old .last pup. As nobody wanted her because didn't have enough white spots . Mainly black but white paws, tail tip,chin and chest. But man...what a brave, protective dog.going camping with wife and daughter but sleep by the fire with dog tucked in sleeping bag.

if you're watching this you probably have a jack russell terrier your own. and i want you to note this. spend as much time with your friend as you can because when you lose him/her you'll regret the this you couldn't do with him. a jack russell terrier is your best buddy and loves you more then you realise. so please go take a walk with him/her and play more. he/she is your baby. your everything at least in my eyes. so spend more time do more unusual things. show so more love. have a good time. thank you. and have a great day.

Jons Huib I miss our Molly very much. It’s been a year and saw a lot of her in this video. She was part bull terrier mix but she acted like a JRT most the time and was more mellow as she got older. She was 11 when she passed. But I don’t thing I’ll have another. I don’t think I can go though losing another friend.

My boy stan passed away almost two years ago at the grand old age of 15 years 11 months. He entered our lives at just 8 weeks old. JRS are amazing dogs and will love and defend those that are important with their last breath...small but with the heart of a lion❤️❤️

Mine went to the ripe old age of 18 yrs bud and not fat just grey round the mouth and a bit slower but it didn't stop him catching Rats or squirrels in our garden 😁😁 great dogs

That throwing the ball down the stairs, I did that every night with my JRT for hours ! He could go all night !

So much more character in the jack Russell than that of any other dog breed in my opinion.

Jack Russell = bite happy tyrants. I had one named Tyco, he passed last years. Made it to almost thirteen years old, and now I have another. His name is Kaven, and he’s eight months. I look forward to another happy, long life with him. Far and away the best breed, but be prepared because they’re ALL full of energy and need to exercise

I have a Jack Russell and I could leave food out for 6 hours and she will never take it. Very calm dog. Does not bark.never goes after rabbit or anything.everyone tells me that they have never seen such a quite Jack russell

I've had 3 Jacks - never could get one to howl though. People always ask if training was hard - I just reply that no, it was pretty easy - I was fully trained in just a couple of weeks !!

I am on my 2nd Jack Russell Terrier and I love these dogs. But I must say that the part in the video where the little JRT was snuggled up against the Rottweiler and the Rottie was snarling was too scary. I just don't believe that the person videoing this should have been taking such a risk. The other videos were great!

I love watching these videos. Brings back lovely memories of my JR. We lose Ben a tri colour JR in 2002 he was nearly 15. I think of him everyday. We would love another JR but my heart broke so much when we lost him. He was the best. These wee dogs are a true joy and a privilege to have. I ❤️ Jack Russells by far the best breed of dog. Intelligent, funny, would take on a Lion lol. Beautiful.

My JRT finds a way to escape the house every single day when we aren't home, but everytime we get back my JRT just waits for us to open the gate and gets in and then does the same thing the next day 😂

I have Jack Russell Terier. This is a great dog. Devoted, active, and very inteligent. Previously I had sausage dogs and weren't so nice.

If a JRT steals your lunch. He already calculated the penalty before he ate it. Mine is about 3yo now. He hasn't done anything like that for about a year now. The first couple years he was kind of a hand full. But he was worth it. He's a great dog and everyone loves the little tough guy.

Many of these owners are just plain stupid. Provoking dogs, or mistreating them otherwise

Yes I agree 100% on that, after seeing my X. boyfriend hitting his own dog with an plunger! I first met him, months later, Lady was mixed with lab & pit, she was so beautiful & easy to train. he got jealous BC I treated her as if she was my dog, I trained her to wait by the back door, & I'll say staaaay... & she didn't move. until I clapped my hands for her to go ahead and eat, she was soooo. attached to me than him, she knew & smelt fearless &💕❤❤ around me, very smart. Black with beautiful brown eyes, awwwwe 😄😍😍😍

Maybe the Rottie wasn't aggro about the Jack. Maybe it was the camera and he was protecting the Jack.

We had a rescue Jack for about 6 years, he came with problems but nothing too serious, he was very opinionated but we all loved him and missed him terribly when he left to chase the rainbow.

My jack Russell puppy really only growls while playing and he also nips while playing, though we usually yell at him for that

my Wolf once jumped up in the same place about thirty times to see what was on the kitchen counter three feet above his head.

We just got our new baby JRT last October. He is about 8 months old now and is our 5th JRT. Our last 2 passed last summer at the age of 18. I absolutely love these doggies and wouldn’t be whole without one in my life! ❤️🐶

Jack Russell dogs are #1 in my book. I had a smart and sweet little girl who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on February 4th, 2016. She was half Jack Russell and half Poodle. She looked like a Jack Russell but with long, partially curly fur. She was mostly Black with a white spot under her chin and both of her eyebrows were white. Her feet were brown with black toenails. Her favorite activity was playing fetch (we called it playing BALL. Just the mere mention of the word ball and she would go get her ball. You could even try to SPELL ball, B-A-L-L and she KNEW what it meant!. She was only 11 years old. I agree. I've had Jackies for years. I love them. But, I also understand how quickly they can become aggressive. Provoking them or laughing when they are behaving badly is awful. And the Rottie snarling at the poor Jack? What the heck is WRONG with these people. I came here to enjoy funny things about Jack Russells. This was disturbing.

My dog is a jack Russell mix with Chihuahua. We got him from the pound and they said he was just a chihuahua mix but I knew he looks just like the ones in the video. My dog isn’t aggressive he has never bit but he loves food and sleeping.

This is my Holly girl all the way...they could have been twins except my girl was black and white.
