This is gold. Specially nowadays when people are used to throw stuff away and buy more. We need to start reusing and learning how to repair our stuff.

I agree. I make videos on other topics, but the main idea is to keep this stuff out of landfills and gain more knowledge on how to repair and fix stuff. Thanks for the video--boots look great!
Thanks for this guide! This brings back fond memories of when I was a kid and my Dad would clean his leather boots that he'd had for years. 15 something years later he's still got those boots. I hope to make my boots last as long as he makes his last.
Wish all videos were like yours. Just to the point and no unnecessary talks .. simply loved it . All the best
Great video. I appreciate that you get straight to the point and demonstrate quickly. Thank you.
That iron technique is awesome. Never heard of that one before. Thanks.
I love this indepth guide. Everything I could need to know when caring for my boots and straight to the point.
This is amazing - never saw using iron to remove the creases. Thanks!

I was thinking I could maybe use one of those new steamers instead?
@Jones4Leather

I am a leather repair professional. DO NOT IRON OR STEAM LEATHER. - high heat shortens the life of your leather. Leather is 98% collagen protein fibers that that begin to suffer damage at 145° F. It is permanent damage that causes the fibers to shorten and tighten. An iron on the cotton setting is 150°to 200° F and steam is 212° F. The short-term results come at a long-term cost that you may never connect intuitively. But the fibers you subject to heat are the area that is subject to the most stress from bending.

Can’t believe how well this worked! Thanks so much!
Something about this video *Muah❤️* Felt like getting messaged. Watching those boots get restored was like heaven! If you can fix up some more higher boots (cowboy boots, harness and the such) next that would be great!
Thank you so much! My motorcycle boots are looking better than they have done in years. One of the best videos on KZread!

It’s a video about boots. The description written in English is a clue. Going to school will help u to learn words. No amount of education though will cure stupidity.

I've got a pair of Polish engineering military boots I've had for 27 years, and I'm doing! Thanks for this info.
Man I didn’t know that about the iron taking creases out! Great tip.
Very Practical and Helpful.
Thomas has a nice soothing voice to listen to.
How amazing....like new boots again!! You probably saved some people big bucks! Great tutorial step by step & to the point...real results!🎯🥾
Just what I needed! Thanks Thomas!
Thank you! I was able to order the right materials and got all my leather shoes ready and looking brand new for the holidays! Happy I don’t have to buy new ones.
Excellent presentation. Same situation w my boots exactly. Thanks. Now in addition to that. Can we get that firm stiffness back somehow? Is that an additional process?
Very helpful video And a long awaited one Thanks Antonio

Thanks for lovely info, u r a perfect show doctor...
Very impressed - especially with the crease removal process! Any advice for me? I want to potentially dye red full grain (or half grain, I can't tell!) soft 1980s leather lace-up boots from a dull straight red to an oxblood colour. Here in the UK there is an array of dye products to pick from, but I think perhaps a stain would be better than a vinyl dye, which only covers the leather. Is there any prep I should do? Appreciate any advice.
Very nicely done sir!!! Love this video!! 🔥
Right on this is very helpful!
I love your video thank you so much.
Great vid man. Short n sweet- So I recently bought my 1st legit pair of authentic leather boots, theyre new, and im not a rancher lol... so My question is do i just skip to the last step and apply the wax directly to the dry leather surfaces>? and how much should i be rubbing in per , lets say square in"... like a dime's size >?
Outstanding, Good As New
Great job!
Parabéns top explicação!!!
Very helpful! Now I just need to learn how to “clean up” the soles.

I tried ironing the wrinkles on an old pair of 90s loafers. It turned out much better than it was before, thank you. Would it work on my car's leather seats? There are some wrinkles made by child safety seats.
Hi, i just to confirm, in this video you're using these items: 1. Saddle soap 2. Leather conditioner 3. Learher cream (to fix small cracks) What is Lanolin for? Is that another item you use or its already contains in of the 3 items above? Thank you
I love both old n new.
Thank you very much. Interesting indeed. Please make a tutorial about how to fix the cracks of shoes.

Well done, I always clean and take care of my shoes. But Hunter boots are hard to get shiny. Any recommendation?
Will it work with those swade (is it how they are spell) boots too?
RMRS covering shoe/boot maintenance! Nice, I could have sworn this topic was a little too "shoey" for this channel.
Great vid and diggin your boot choices. Are the chukka boots from Clark? Other boots from Thursday?
To all the new youtubers this is our year! 💪😎
nice boots anyone know the model or brand of them?
WOW!❤
I’m 15 but I value my leather boots so much, I practically live in them, I also plan to take care of these into older years as I want to possibly pass them onto my kids Also I know it’s cringe coming from a 15(almost 16) but I bought these so I could keep them forever

Would love a tutorial on more severe damage like with leather work boots
I have a pair of old shoes and wanted to treat them at home with the available stuff but almost everything you used are specific. I think I should just polish them before going to the party.
Does this apply to Kenneth Cole Leather Sneaker ?
so can this buff out deep scratches too by the looks of these boots? would like to repair mine.
I just got a pair of leather boots and was following the steps in the video, and I guess my iron runs hot because after the de-creasing process the color has changed in those areas. Any ideas on how I can get them back to a uniform brown?
Freakin beautiful, thanks! 👍 It just happens that the boots I'm trying to restore are brown leather chukkas that are almost identical to those 😂
I power washed my leather boots. The dye is gone but the leather is still great. Thank you so much. I spent so much time breaking these in.
IM repairing some leather dr martens for my 4 year old. Any tips on some extra protection I can apply to the shoes? The shoes is question are mostly scuffed up not a lot of damage. Scuffing is a big problem with toddlers

Can you please PLEASE tell me if all of these techniques would work and be the same for Crocodile boots? Thanks so very much!!!
