How did you play this????!!!

In age of sail, where I believe the ship mechanics are the same, you can board an enemy ship from both sides, so you don't have to put your men on to the boats and transfer. This has helped me capturing tons of ships playing that game. Last tip, before boarding hitting the enemy ship with normal canon ball reduces their morale significantly and helps with the boarding action.

On my latest campaign I'm going straight for cash business, skip Boston, secure supply through fort rice, build fur, and strike north through Ticonderoga, secure supply lines

Apparently reputation is bugged and you only get rep from autoresolve battles. But I've noticed you get rep from destroying supply ships. So you can fight the battles to destroy the warships, and the auto patrol to get the rep trickle in.

What if you concentrate denying British reinforcements and supplies? Mainly naval battles from the start and capturing a big navy?

Can´t you merge land units, so they not are so small?

I want to buy this game so bad, however it is quite expensive for a game that is not even fully out yet. Would you recommend buying it now and enjoy the development?

as i understand it, the map will expand after a certain date, unless you take boston, in which case it will expand then.

Why dont you disband your navy in the North rebuild it in the South? Similar concept to disbanding armies for the men and officers. Just a thought. Great start so far though!

The game is still in early access. So right now they only have the first year of the war. They will have a longer campaign it’s just not finished yet.

Why have they not allowed the militia they give you to not get another unit yet????? Seems like an easy fix. Annoying have to disband to then recruit again

A perfect strategy game must have campaign MP map, not a real strategy game if you can't fight a real human

I'm not buying an unfinished product. I don't have the time to restart if there are game breaking bugs. Generally, don't buy anything before there are good reviews of the game. Otherwise we're just encouraging the gouging behaviour in game dev companies.
