This is by far one of the best videos to get an idea of these switches. No talking, just typing, and the timestamps are nice and wide making it easy to go back and forth between sounds. It's almost like I'm trying the keys myself. Definitely saved to favorites.
This video is high quality and just the right length and to the point. The timestamps with chapters are an amazing touch. Good job!
Finally a video with actual typing sound tests. Exactly what i wanted to see. Good job friend!
no talk.... straight to the point!!! i love it... keep it up bro!!
i love the clickyness of the green switch so much

@@SweepSwapInUrWalls As with so much in this hobby, the feel of typing, just like the sound, is a preference thing. For instance, I don't really like using switches with very heavy springs, but I have a baby kangaroo tactile in my spacebar and just in my spacebar, because it feels so nice to have one big fat key that you gotta smack a lot harder than the others.

Yeah the blues have the thock but also the click. The greens drown the sound in clickiness imo.

Thanks! I've been meaning to get a new keyboard, and I wanted to get the right switches for my modification. (i think i will get white)

@brandonrng

@@mahmoodkhattab5504 gat whites are VERY light. they’re very easy to press so i use them for gaming. lubing them makes all the difference because they’re very scratchy before. if used right they can generate a thocky sound but it’s not as deep. they sound great to me but if you’re looking for a deep deep thock these aren’t it. so far i love them, one of my favorites.

Depends on what switch type. Do you want a linear switch with I think no bump or a clicky switch with, a click jacket, making it very clicky and it has a bugger bump

Hmmm... Those Blacks sound nice and thocky to my ear. Might pick up a set for my K2 V2 which currently has the Gateron G Pro Browns. Thanks for sharing.
Gracias por el video. :)
Blue's just sound heavenly.
Black are my favs :D
i really hated the blues. thanks for this vid tho. def gives quality of life perspective one needs before buying
Red, Brown, Yellow and White sound similar. Green is distinct and the best sound and also feels like the best click. I was wondering how I can get the green feel with more silence since I want to get something for my office.
Great video! It would help if there were annotations in the video. I found this video embedded in the switch guide on keychron website and for some reason the embedded player does not show the timestamps (nor does it allow seeking, for some strange reason.)
Red😫😫😫 sounds good thnkyou
oh my god that green switch is NOISY
on the yellow the o and p are in the wrong spot, love the vid tho man well done
I have Gateron CAP V2 milky yellows in the V6 I got from you guys.
idk red or black, both sound good
Yellow just sounds like you're building something in a lego game bruh
wait i actually kind of love the green sound
I like blues. Mainly because I prefer the clicky sound, and half the time its blocked out by my headphones anyway

you should go threw the silent ones they have silent yellow and silent browns and red
I would have gone crazy from such a loud clacking, 10 minutes is enough for me, no more.
The whites making me feel feelings
thats it im getting gateron blacks for my keeb
K1 too, please!
BTW if you're watching this and thinking "blue isn't so loud". You'll be amazed how ear piercing it sounds in person.
Yellows are the best
between yellow and white which is better
does the sounds they make is different from the milky ones? Cause i cannot find a video of them comparing it
00:29 satisfying
Red and Yellow, what's their differences? Are they better than brown?
Brown sounds like an ASMR video.
Is it true that with optical switches you can have random clicks (if barely touched the key)?
Blue 🤤
idk why but im so amused by the white switches.. they sound.. Funky™️ ...
Green switches tho
White for my Enter and Red for my Spacebar . ✔
its really funny that red is listed as "quiet"
team blue!
I think greens sound the best, I'm totally going to try them at some point. But blues out of the box first, I'll see if they annoy me over time or not. For short tests at local electronic stores I loved them.

Green and Blue are clicky. The rest are all relatively at the same audio level. If this office has other people, I suggest getting mechanical keyboards that are specifically quiet as mechanical keyboards can annoy many people.

Are the the black ones actually the quietest? From what I could hear in the video, they are the quietest, but would like anyones opinion who have heard them in person. Personally, I dont like the clicky sound of blue. I thought the red ones would be a lot quieter, considering that optical reds usually are a lot quieter than optical blues.

It is not always the same keyboard, so I cant say is now red or brown louder.

Anyone here know which of these is most similar to the Logitech MX Mechanical Mini keyboard keys? I love that keyboard but the backlight timer is driving me crazy. To me it seems like Red is similar but I'm not sure. I'm really clueless when it comes to keyboard terms.

ive played with that one and I'd say it's more like brown (it has brown switches). (it also comes in three variatons; one with blue, one with brown, and one with red.but I am under the impression that the 'default' example is the one with browns. with the low profiles, the difference between browns and reds (at least with gateron) is pretty unnoticeable. you have to really pay attention if you want to notice the difference. but I guess it does have that tactile bump. I have a red switch in my nuphy air75 for my tab button and it doesn't have any bump just smooth,. which is great for my command+tab switching. I also put a blue in my spacebar because I like the click. ) ) ) happy typing!
It's really hollow. Well it's something.
Thank you. Just confirmed I hate Blues. Super annoying. Gonna get reds or brown

If you want a heavy switch, if that's what you mean you should go with the blacks but those are linear. I currently have the blacks (60gf) and I realize when I am gaming or typing for a long period of time it definitely strains your fingers which is quite annoying.
