Congratulations, I'm kinda expecting to see a wall with baby 'molts' (baby rompers it grew out of) develop in the coming year(s).

Petko, a trick when using a glass cutter... After you score the glass, run hot water on the cut mark, then run cold water on it, the contraction will cause the glass to split along your cut line.

@@slinkychampion6533 this method I described is what we do for stained glass, with the smaller more intricate pieces. Or in the art of candle working when an individual wants to cut a tube of glass to length. Rod is typically more simple to break to length, but the tubes are typically a pain to break straight. The water method will make sure its straight every time. 👌

@@asylumental cool. The technique I've described in my previous comment I've used in my stained glass. With a straight cut on a flat, relatively sized piece it should work just fine.

@@slinkychampion6533 yes definitely for large pieces...but it's also just like a fool proof method that should never have any broken glass. Good for DIY but not great for business purposes since it's a longer process

Congrats on fatherhood Petko! An option with the hinge pins. You could just 3D print holes instead of pins, and insert a solid pin of whatever material is easy to get in the right dimensions.

@@bramcharan1 its harder than you think, you can really pnish the amazon sellers and ebay seller who bought them in bulk from china but these guys have no idea the design is copied and a copyright strike will close their amazon shop and they dont have much money. i have patented jewellery designs ive done this and it makes you feel awful

After you score the glass you Pour hot water on the glass, and then pour cold water on the glass. It will seperate cleanly along your cut line.

Never run it more than 1 time.. it’s Not good for the cutting wheel 1. your cut was dry, use some ‚cuttingoil‘ 2. you wait to long, break it directly 3. lay a stick under the cut an than press a bit on both site

@@xEiNZELSTUECK your methods work for large glass sheets, and is the quick way for sure... but when cutting anything small or spherical, or tubular, you should do the water method.

@@asylumental I work with glass since 5 years. Never done it with water. It‘s 4mm glass, you can break it with hand.

On odd glass pieces like that after you score it you can dip a string in lighter fluid and lay on scored line set on fire for a vit then dip inncold water to get a clean break
