Wow, what a wonderful experience for these young people to fish with an amazing elite angler! What I loved the most about these young people is that they behaved and acted like experienced anglers how they handled themselves on their boats how they read the lake even not using live scope. The future is going to be awesome! Brian again giving these teens an opportunity to fish against you and watch their skills just goes to show you how much respect and integrity you have, tight lines and take care God bless!

I think this may be one of your best ever videos, perhaps setting the bar for a future series of this type. I was glued to the monitor from the beginning. The concept of the challenge, the respectful nature of the youngsters, and the overall production is top notch. I love the removal of some of the electronics too. Great work sir!!!

It’s getting hot here in Texas. I fish from the bank mostly. I have been on a roll the last 5 years catching at least one 8 pound plus bass. This year my streak was still rolling except she body slammed the 12 pound line and snapped it. Been watching your videos for years. Appreciate what you do.

To read all the comments that people just assume that the younger generation doesn’t have skill and only catch fish because of electronics is disheartening! The young kids are so much better not just because of electronics but because they have parents and or family that has them on the water fishing from an early age! Then you add in middle school, high school, and college fishing! Then you add the damn electronics on top of all of that! But to just say young guys only catch fish because of live scope and electronics is a joke!

  • @BrianLatimerFishing

Older generations always feel like they are “outdoing” the current generation. Almost like they aren’t responsible for the the current group. If kids aren’t prepared then it’s our fault. I don’t see it that way however. Everyone one of those kids can out fish me at 41 years old. They know more than I know now!!!

@@BrianLatimerFishing absolutely! I don’t know if maybe it’s that I’m a father and I’ve raised young men or what. But at no point in time have I ever wanted my child to know less than me. The goal from the beginning was to make my son a better angler than I am! The same should be the goal of pros to pass the sport on to younger better anglers! Maybe it’s the $$ angle but it’s kills me that people think young adults/kids are only good because of live scope! The young guys in the pro ranks right now would be there if livescope was a thing or not. Just my opinion!!

I was thinking the same thing. But then I thought about the fact that having electronics is all these kids know. I like that B.Lat did this it shows them they can definitely do it without the electronics, and these young men are very knowledgeable. This was fun to watch.

Yup, bac to basic! Even if you have all that electronic, you still have to know your stuff. Got to find the fish and get it into the boat. Have the same issue in 3d archery. NO RANGE FINDERS! hey got back in the sport at 49, ain't no Levi Morgan! One thing I know! When they miss a shot, it's because they miss ranged it! Sorry! It's because you missed your shot! That's why they don't want range finders in archery!✌️👊👍🐟🎣🎯♥️

Yup, but these kids seem privileged! Just wonder are they better for the sport? Or would like me. Rather seen you take a kid who has only bank fished in a community pond or something of the sort. I will always hope that a kid or whatever comes from the bottom to win. Not from a family that dad bought them the ranger with the live scope. I just can’t enjoy this.
