This is actually my favourite map! I've put more hours into it than any other map. Kinda keen to build a full analysis of pvp on it using some other peoples footage in the future. But for now I need to get all these new player guides updated!

I think one of the first videos by you I ever watched was Factory. That would have been in autumn 2020, many hundreds of hours of Tarkov ago. I remember studying your Factory guide and still finding Factory to be an incredibly confusing map; something about the layout, the textures, the lighting, and the generally oppressive and hostile "atmosphere" of the place I think makes it unsettling for newcomers. I have now done HUNDREDS of raids on Factory and while I do not come close to your mastery of the map, I have achieved complete lobby wipes a few times and managed amazing survivals many times now. It is like a little "place" in my mind now, and I even enjoy logging in just to savor it. Thanks for updating a Factory guide for 2024! I will be watching all of your guides! No matter how experienced you are, you can always learn more.

This was an excellent video! After hearing you explain how you would play certain hotspots I am looking forward to the next maps you do. Hearing how an experianced player takes certain hotspots is very insightful and allows you to not only be aware of what others are using but how to maneuver around those spots. Not sure how you are going to incorporate it in the next updated map videos because I can assume these videos would be hours in length.

You made this my favorite map because of what you said about this map years ago. I finally branched out these last few wipes but I figured watching this would make Factory even better for me. Thanks for the advice and tips as always!

Your videos were suggested about a month ago and i started watching you and your hardcore series, i have watched other people play tarkov for a few years and ive always wanted to try it. last week i finally bought the game and i have been playing pretty much as much as i can, your videos are really helpful and ive actually learned a few maps from you. awesome stuff man!

Played about 220 hours so far. I am, just now, gaining confidence playing the game and doing a bit of pvp, finally. Got my first duo squad kill last night (I play solo), Spent time in the shooting range getting used to how inertia effects my crosshairs while my pmc moves about. I saw immediate improvement. Thanks for the new player guides because these have helped improve my map knowledge so much as well as make me richer than ever. 10/10

Damn I wish you weren’t so locked in chronologically and you could open your mind to commenting first (for the algo) and then watching it. But I get it. Everything has its place and when they’re not like that your aunt might get hit by a car… you and the 13+ people that liked this suck.

Thank you, bossman. I REALLY needed this. Without the Factory key, I've been getting exfil camped and it's been pretty frustrating. I said I'm not going back until I buy the key, I got 2 missions that simply need me to extract safely and I refuse to do it to myself lol.

Just a note, at 12:35 pest points at the wrong door when showing the underground scav extract. It’s actually the one of the right around that corner.

I refer to glass hallway as "murder hallway" its just death in there

I Actually found armor repair kit in pumping station and by the way it was standing up im pretty sure it was not dropped since the pmc was naked who was in there first time ive seen any loot there !

Forklift is my best spawn u get a lot of cover to work with as long as u push out

18:08 Armor kit used to be able to spawn on pallet to your right not sure if they removed that. It can also spawn on top of the boiler on the left. Only seen it on boiler once but pallet about 3 times. Very rare though probably 1 in 50 or maybe even 1 in 100 if they didnt remove it.

Surprised you didnt mention both repairkit spawns (ones behind you at 18:38 on the boxes , the other is ontop of the boilers near glass hallway) they are a rare spawn :) And speaking of nade kills, while you were standing at 13:25 and the staircase next to it, theres a spot from the pit where you can throw a nade through the window wich lands in that upper part staircase, and can be done with LVL 1 strength/throwing and is pretty easy to line up for consistancy (it kills people on Top, Mid and upper staircase), higher skills makes it easier, and can be done to the second window too, it lands between the doors of office (14:16)

DAMMIT, I wish I had watched this video earlier, had a Factory raid where I spawned in that glass hallway, and I ran towards forklift room, and obviously got shredded.

The guides for all the rest of the maps when? I'll be expecting a 100+ hr vdeo before the end of the first quarter. K tnx. Nah, but great video. I'd love to see more videos like this. Even if it's just for some hot spot parts of other maps.

noticed on the minimap it showed the scav extract on the bunker door but not the office window.

I knew it. Pestily is using a DMA Radar.

Hey I don't know if its been recommend before, or whatever, but maybe try making these videos in SPT, at least then you can show what a proper raid looks like without players, might make the videos a bit more difficult to make, I hope in the future offline mode can have the right loot, and maybe an option to turn the scav aggro to zero, that way new players can still see where scavs might be, and hell maybe even practice shooting them without them shooting back.

I was trying to camp gate 3 the other night and someome shot through the wall like you did here and they hit me. Literally took 1 damage but it was enough for my PMC to grunt. They they proceeded to throw grenades in until they got me.

Run factory in offline with hoard mode and tagged and cursed like 20 times it’ll change your life

I run SPT, but ive killed tagilla twice. First time he tore me up cuz I was using 545 sp and T ammo. 2nd time he mag dumped me n did basically nothing. 3 cheers for Gen4 full n lv6 plates. I shot his legs, he tried to run and I just gutted him with 545 ps

Quisetion here: Is it possible to wonder on maps solo, so i can get familiar with it?.. you seem doing it in this vid.

Ran factory last night due to ground zero scav being broken for me and a buddy. Couldn’t load into a single ground zero as a scav. Hope it gets fixed.

Try to run other maps anyway, the loot is severely limited on GZ. Also, should be fixed now. Had same issue and only Factory worked. All good now.

i've had 2 pmc encounters with tagilla 1 he ran into me, and killed me mid-run with melee damage, he just trampled me >.> 2 he jumpscared me, when i had a double barrel with magnum buck, and dumped all that into his armpit, sadly no good loot except his t6 rig and mask - it was next to extract aswell, so it's nice

Is buying a factory key the only way of getting one? Or is there a spawn for it? (I'm super new to the game)

I got 1000 hours, probably 100 of those double barrel doinkin in factory, and I didn't even know people could enter that pumping station building.

But you knew about the key to open the door in office?

Back in the day factory was an hour long and 3/4 of the size. And nobody used any of those cheeky spots and you would go to factory for loot 😂

Since the vault update you can stay in the first room and vault up the boxes. This room gets rushed and one of the crucial skills required for playing Tarkov is defensive play, utilising verticality and holding angles. Genuinely did my stirrup and Tarkov Shooter part 3 that way this wipe.

I'm level 22 and still haven't finished Friend From the West. I think its shotgun time at the factory

Can anyone confirm if blue key card can or cannot spawn on the white machinery piece next to med tents. All info on this I see is 3-4 year old vague articles and I never hear of anyone recently talking about it. On the factory maps online it still shows it as a possible spawn, but again never seen or heard of it actually spawning.

I dont know if you can pass this bug to bsg but im still going for it. I got an ak build with pdc dust cover, jp ent with delta point reflex sight and the new 6x24 scope. Long story short its still showing the iron sight when switching sights instead of just reflex and scope. Also scav raid is broken stuck at awaiting session. Apparently its not just me

@@drinkmorecocacola Yes, they were both like 30 second late spawns because of someone slow joining but once he was right in front of me and the other time I died from him behind me I guess because it said he killed me but I never saw him. It wasn't scavving because my scav karma has been over over 5 since the second week. Spent those first two weeks working on karma.

Flow of tarkov is the one to have a new kit ready after u died :)

How do you get this mini map?

my monitor literally cannot display all the quick glimpses Pest is describing, it just swallows those frames and turns them into blurry pixel soup...

i still get scavs with no gear even though i thought they fixed that? and whats with pmcs using scav voice lines as bait? tonight ive come across 3 different groups who use them to get you to push them it sounds like its in game but they could just be playing it through their mic i guess.

Thats the advantage of picking bear you get the russian voice lines. Best thing to do is just wait a bit listen if they sound like they are just walking around turning and all that ai stuff your safe but if they talk and never move you gotta suspect its a player.

I also check my mag randomly while I’m at a standstill where I hear someone hear me. It’s a little advantage.

I'd love to play some Factory but I just hate waiting for a match for around 5 minutes just get killed by a random tap in 10 seconds. Why can't we like have a map preloaded and queue it back to back so we would have almost instantaneous rematch? I really wouldn't mind all the BS Tarkov had if the matchmaking times were cut by like 80-90%, it's not even about the gear it's about the time being wasted in the loading screen.

​@TukeM no what you are describing is a bannable offense Plus if you use any overlay at all expect to get kicked from the match. If you even pull up a aimpoint overlay for center of screen you will get kicked from the raid.

Anyone below level 10 wanna run some games? Im just coming up to level 7.. newish tarkov player.. looking to box my jeager tasks off 😂

With respect to pestily, the first spawn he shows, he advises to get out asap. Keep in mind the person who spawns in glass hallway can simply turn, pre aim and 1 shot you when you come out. They are in a far more precarious spawn than you, believe it. My advice is, when you spawn there immediately crouch, reduce speed to slowest and dont move. Listen for the spawn on the left - you will hear it. Glasshallway may come to play, not likely.

If they one shot you in that short time they deserve the kill. But Pest did forget something imo: to jump while run peeking. Makes the one tap you mentioned a lot harder. Also I have to disagree with you. Staying in there makes you a very easy target, since the hallway spawn and the spawn to the left know you are in there, because there is always someone spawning in there (ofc if theres no 5 man vs 1 man). So get out, jump across to the forklifts and then you can listen

If you dont move and listen, the lefthand spawn will bypass you and hit the glass hallway spawn. It happens a lot! People rarely check and its easier to shoot people in the back than in the front. YES on the jump comment. Remember, he didnt even mention the rafters etc which is a whole section of map in itself. HUGE.@@ocean3708
