My dad used to own a CB400 when I was younger. That sound from the Akrapovic Exhaust reminded me of the sound that basicaly became my weekend alarm. haha

Yoshimura can really be gentle at low revv but intimidating screaming when VTEC kicked in. No wonder there's a yoshimura version of CB400

Yeeah, Idk how many times I've come back to here 1:02 and 2:24 it is just perfect, not too growling, not to skinny. just like the exhaust and the bike itself were created like how God created Eve from Adam's ribs. It indeed got a pretty low notes, but, the whistle-- which is the quirk of bike sound, still audible perfectly.

I had a CB400N... I hsd a lot of fun. 55 years young now... This brings back memories. Thanks for posting.

Super 4 only exist in Asia though. Ang mo countries all play big bikes one.

I got hold of one a few months ago. The sound alone made me fall in love with it. Trouble is, that the downpipes are rotten and now its not firing on the left cylinder and Im having issues trying to get it stripped ( Im disabled and strugle with my back, legs and left arm ) and so its in the shed sat down nothing until I get all the bits together and start to play about with it again.

At high RPMs if your exhaust gives smoke then you got a Piston ring issue. Purely fire coming out is ok. But smoke shows something fishy.
