Spain have looked solid in every match, regardless of the perceived level of opposition (which is A LOT more than can be said for other so called “major” footballing nations when lining up against so called “lesser” footballing nations. Im not sure you’ll thrash Germany (pretty sure that’s what goleados means 😅) I think it will be close, but you guys have looked better this tournament. Excellent content. Stumbled on this trying to build confidence for Saturday. I think we’ll progress but it’ll be a lot easier if Shaw is involved as he will steady the ship. If Gareth wants to win the whole thing he will have to take a risk. Finals & semi’s usually get decided by small margins that key players like Jude, Kane or palmer produce. Trippier must be omitted. Nearly every attack down the left has been halted by him. Gordon can play a key part in a cameo role.

CR7 is detrimental to Portugal now right? Martinez hasn’t got the balls to drop him, but I think it needs to happen.

This will be a hard one. I think germany will go as the winner since its definitely a 50/50 game but added the Hosting advantage makes a huge diffrrence. France should beat portugal.Their players are just too powertul and only need good chemistry. Maybe we will see a brand new france especially cause they played pretty shitty this tournament. England Swiss will be difficult to predict. But i think swiss will win it. Their Defensive Play is just too good and England is not agressive enough to open spaces. And the last would be Holland. this one is easy to predict. Austria was the better team. That game was more luck than skill.

You forgot to consider Turkey did not play with their full 11 against Portugal, instead opting to save the players fpr future games. It isnt fair to say Portugal was skipping the Georgia match but not mention Turkey did the same aswell.

There is no doubt it will be a tough game against the Swiss. They have some top class players, and they are very organised. I believe it will be a scrappy game, especially if England line up as they did in the last 4 matches. However, from recent reports there is a chance that the England set up will be different for the QF. Moments of brilliance do come from star players, you’re right. And that can be the difference. Germany will beat Spain. Spain's defense hasn't been properly tested. Musiala and Wirtz are a mismatch for Spain's attacking fullbacks and Fulkrug will bully ball-playing CBs Le Normand and Laporte. England has played far worse during the whole tournament than Switzerland or Turkey yet you pick England winner because of your bias, because it's your home country?? France and England were the two worst teams the whole tournament. I think Ronaldo will pull through with his since he cried at the last game and it's his last. Turkey and Netherlands have pretty even results and playing in Berlin will be like a home field for Turkey with fan support. They beat Netherlands for semi-finals before and play more passionately. Spain, Portugal, Switzerland and Turkey for the win

I picked England because there is more to come from them as a team. I didn’t say it was going to be an easy win, I believe it will be close, but I feel England will win in extra time. It also appears that there is going to be a shift in how England are going to play against Switzerland and perhaps that is us growing in to the tournament. Portugal played poorly for the entirety of the 2016 tournament and won it. Thats what tournament football is. You think Ronaldo will pull through because he cried? Well, Ronaldo isn’t Portugal. At least not anymore, and he has known it’s his last tournament from the beginning.. so where were his goals? He ranks highest for shots off target in the portugal team, highest for shots on target, second highest for shots blocked.. some might argue that is wasteful. Yes, his off the ball play is still exceptional and that definitely adds something to a teams performance. Who knows, Portugal could beat France, I said that in the video, but I also believe France are set for a big match and will have fresher legs. I also believe the pace up front will be an issue for Portugal. Especially if Pepe plays. He was dead on his feet in that Slovenia match and almost cost them dearly. A better finisher would have put that chance away. If you’re saying that Turkey will play like having home support and therefore they will beat Netherlands, why haven’t you picked Germany to beat Spain? They literally have home support? Yes Turkey can be dangerous in knockout football and they have proved that in the few tournaments they have actually qualified for, but Netherlands looked very dangerous in their last match (yes Romania weren’t at the top of their game, but the scoreline could have been 4 or 5-0) whereas Austria dominated possession and chance creation and could have equalised in the dying minutes had it not been for the wonder save (and what a beautiful save that was 🤩). Thinking that Turkey dominated Austria because they won 2-1 is like thinking England dominated Slovakia because they won 2-1. A lot of research goes in to these videos, whether that be in game stats, player positional analytics, relevant recent head to heads, you name it, then I make a prediction based on who comes out on top from those stats. But that’s also why I get some wrong sometimes, because at the end of the day, this is football. And more specifically, tournament football. And stats and analytics can go out the window as soon as as game starts. Either way, thanks for watching. I love it when people give their opinions, that’s what football is all about.

​@@footiesocialclub See, I was right about Spain:) I base my predictions on the current tournament performance mainly because past performance doesn't guarantee future results. Current German team is not what they used to be under Lowe. And Portugal played better and deserved it more honestly. It's quite wild France got to semi finals without scoring a single goal. I'm rooting for England today too but objectively, Switzerland has played far better. People underestimate Turkey but they beat Austria who beat Netherlands. Now it's less sure because UEFA just banned Demiral the guy who scored 2 goals in the last game but I have high hopes from Calhanoglu, Guler and Yildiz

It is indeed mad that France have got this far without scoring in open play! I too was right about Spain and I too base my predictions off current form (but also player potential, potential tactical changes in fixtures etc) and give past H2H as examples for context. I was also right about Portugal and the fact that Ronaldo wouldn’t pull through, as you can’t base a prediction on whether a player will have the passion to pull a team through. Ronaldo was poor last night, and it was sad to see. His team mates didn’t want to pass to him because they knew it would end in a missed opportunity. I was wrong about Pepe. He showed true heart (and the physical heart of a man much younger in age) International football is notoriously difficult to predict, as teams, tactics and systems can change from tournament to tournament, stage to stage, match to match. Again, with England, it will depend how we line up and whether we can keep Xhaka quiet and not let him dictate the midfield. Am I confident that we will win? No 😅 Do I think we will step up our game and play how I think we can. Yes. To an extent. To the extent that it will be enough to see us beat Switzerland. I don’t believe Türkiye will have enough to beat the Netherlands. It appears that the Netherlands woke up in their last game, where as I believe Türkiye peaked. Again, I could be wrong.. that’s the fun of predicting. If I always got them all right, I’d be a millionaire 😂
