This has become some of my favorite content to watch-dare I say as if not more entertaining than watching pro tournaments (in its own way-the personalities, the confessional cam, cutting dead time, commentary, etc.). Thanks for the great content, and awesome job to the players.

This feel like this one is even more entertaining than the one with the d3 guys, these guys have longer rallies imo and there is more tension in this match.

And of course, they can still do other matches with different players, and they don't have to do my idea back to back, but I still think it would be fun since these guys are fun to watch. Just realized I only saw the first part of your comment, so that's what I was responding to, not the charity part. lol

What I love is watch the best doubles points and the sheer variety of shots it takes between offense and defense to keep the point alive and win the point. THIS is doubles and what makes it exciting - all the net play and movement from four players. Why I have trouble watching singles anymore.

I love how friends team up and play their favorite sport. That's worthy life, dudes.

Man, everyone needs a hype man like Mike at their match.

Scott's EMPHATIC overheads at 12:11, 13:00 and 13:24! With a tweener somewhere in the middle. Wow. Just....wow.

Ian and Scott look so insanely comfortable playing doubles.

Great tennis and commentary!! Love the ups and down and struggles that we all can empathize with in our doubles play. I've been preaching to my guys, split early, calm hands, get the ball in, make the right play, don't try to do too much, let them make UEs. Fantastic dubs play, Ian's movement and aggressiveness, Ira's calm approach while hitting bomb serves and super solid ground strokes, Scott's positioning with quiet hands, always in the right place making the right shot, Mark's fire and desire! Can't wait to see more!!!!!

Great all around, very fun to watch! Using the KZread slow play features you can see the "real world" footwork, body position and strokes of all the different shots in four different styles. A very useful learning tool, Thanks! Also, the commentators are great!

This is a heck of a match so far, Ira and Ian not giving up the second set and fighting back to make the score respectable, if not more, we'll have to see. Mike and Matt make a great commentary team. I don't think Matt is getting his due, yes Mike is hilarious and high energy and can turn a phrase, but Matt is that good doubles partner that is reliable, good humor and insight and is underrated. 😀

What a great matchup. One thing I really noticed is that Ian is probably serving at the lowest speed (although it's a good serve) but his spin and placement have been very effective throughout this match - at least as effective as the others. So many videos tout 'add 10 mph to your serve' and that can be important - just ask Scott and Ira. But, just as importantly, having control and spin on the serve can be even more important to winning points. Ultimately, you still only get one point if you slice a serve out wide and hit a +1 winner or force an error from your opponent vs. bombing a 130 mph serve. And, most of us rank amateurs are not capable of hitting serves that fast. Before this match, I thought Ian's serve might be the most vulnerable of the 4 (not that his serve is not good but the others really hit the ball a lot harder seemingly) but, so far, it has proven to be one of the best in this match. Can't wait for the conclusion. There have been some ridiculously good points from both sides in this match and I expect more of the same. Thanks for the content.

Great match and great commentary! Looking forward to watching the rematch. I would still favor Ian and Ira as long as they continue to put the ball in play and towards Mark in pressure situations. Mark is a beast at the net poaching but was making way too many errors from the baseline. Scott played amazing that first set but couldn't get into the points enough with Mark not being able to keep the ball in play. Tennis is so frustrating when having an off day, I'm sure Mark will bring his level up in the rematch.

That burp at 3:33 was awesome 😂

THAT is some quality tennis

This production is more exciting than any grand slam I have seen in i don't know how long

First of all - love the match series. I think this stuff is amazing content for the education, technique videos and WAY more relevant than the pro synopsis. Ian: After your BH work series, I think the clearest "form" thing you could work on is your back foot sliding in front of your front on your serve. Is this "tweak" on your list of improvements? Or something you would consider working on? I feel like it's a common road block, maybe common enough for the channel? I know it's something I clearly struggle with. correcting

That old fart is 53. He played both HS and College tennis, but it was so long ago there are only cave paintings commemorating it.

It was interesting to see Mark who beat Ian and Scott at singles and probably can beat Ira. At the same time, he is considered the weak link in doubles match. Interesting! Otherwise, great match!

It's funny, Mark has beaten both Ian and Scott in singles on this court, but by his own admission isn't a great doubles player. But he has played great here. Kind of a strange editing decision to not show us the end of this set, but show Mark saying 'We have to win this third set,' which means they won the second set. So if you're telling us that, why not show it?

Ian lost some of his energy in this set ( He was on fire the first set), at the same time Scott fixed his first serve. In the last three points Ira is on fire. And Mark seems to be consistent during the two sets

Mark is a good player but in both sets Mark’s backhand have been consistently bad. Should have utilized his bweh weapon from the beginning of the match.
