I've had two megaboom 3's for some years now, and when i say i have used and abused these speakers i am being modest. multiple trips, parties, tailgates, beach days and they are still kicking. Beyond worth the price and i will buy them again whenever these fail me.

Yea, I’ve had one Megaboom 3 for over 3 years biking, through rainstorms, several drops, still works lika charm! 😅

I really appreciated the "skip to 10:xx" annotation, it's the little things.

I love the ultimate ears line up and I want to say thank you for making content like this so I can look into products, have other people's opinions and even sound tests.

The HyperBoom is a really nice sounding speaker. Nice design, worth the money but could always be cheaper, seeing as in a year's time the second one is out.

@@koiiyhonze9148 uhhh... i don't think so? JBL has been making portable speakers since like 2012 or earlier if you count ipod docks, i don't recall UE making any before 2015 though please correct me if i'm wrong

Honest opinion all of them are quality masterpieces but in terms of size and sound quality wonderboom 2 is just another level

I've had my wonderboom 2 for a long while and I love it so much.

UE speakers are my favourites but they should put USB-C ports on the speakers.

For captions, you could put a note symbol during music playing, because now it is displaying whatever you said last before soundtest (for 2 minutes straight)

You missed one. I forget what it’s called but I call it the “Smartie”….because it is shaped like a huge smartie candy. I use mine for the shower. Works great!

@@admiralhood8646 why nah? Better audio quality, option to hook up with vinyl and cd players, or even a real audio mixer. Wireless ain't the future. (Aux either but it is still has its uses)

I just purchased a megaboom 3. I've never owned a "nice" bluetooth speaker but being in kitchens most of my life I have been around a few. I fn love this thing. It is absolutely the only speaker you'd ever need unless you want a "monster" but this thing is deff a little monster. Battery life is crazy. It's on a carabiner on my back pack and is with me almost everywhere now.

I have the hyperboom and have used it almost everytime at about 80% volume. Sound quality hasn’t gone down and still holds up after 500 hours of playtime. I can as well pair my old generation UE Megaboom from 7 years ago which is awesome! I definitely plan on getting more and having a massive portable sound system!

I have had the Wonderboom 2 for about 18 months. To me, it is amazing how good this speaker sounds given the size. To me, it has a quality balanced sound a little similar to Apple Air Pods Pro earbuds. Good balanced, but the bass heads may complain. I find the bass sounds quite good for classic rock. The speaker sound reminds a little of the sony wired xb55 earbuds with solid bass that doesn't over power vocals or other instruments.

I love them both but am considering switching the megablast for the megaboom so I can connect both of the booms in the app. I don’t trust amazon and don’t want to use Alexa, and I do wish there was a play / pause button on the megablast. The sound seemed better on it though which is why I got it, and because the megaboom 3 was out of stock when I was at Best Buy 😂 but in your really helpful sound comparison, I don’t think they sound thatttt different, so I may switch it out after all. Tough call though. Regardless, I am so happy with my hyperboom. Sounds amazing Also that must have not been fun editing the sound tests together. But it was well worth it because it’s super helpful, so thank you!!

Got the Megaboom 3 for 99€ on Amazon in Germany. I think for 200$/€ it is not that good but for 100€ it's the best option in my opinion.

I have 2 Megaboom 3’s. I paid $174 for the second one on Cyber Monday on Amazon. So... if I wanted to buy 150 of them to pair for a big party I’d need about $26,000. If I was going to do that I’d buy some serious stereo equipment.

do they have to be protable ? sounds like your looking for something a little nicer then a bluetooth speaker, reletively speaking all bluetooth speakers are garbage, go spend 89 dollars on the klipsch 2.1 promedia at walmart.. yep klipsch is at walmart.. but I had that set for 10 years.. and those speakers are amazing.. there is a reason they havent changed the design in 22 years and they still sell

I bought a ue wondaboom 2 at best buy..had other speakers by jbl and sony etc etc..im a fan of jbl products, but aftee i bought this ue 2 , saw some reviews of people rippin ue 2..are they outta there minds...i went for a jbl, and after the in store sound test, i bought the ue 2..itz an unreal sounding speaker, and you notice the difference with otha brands right away..luv my wonderboom 2....80 buckz and im getting anotha ta pair with it.. Ue kickz ass...foe zhure

_Mtthw_ litttle better sound with Megablast and Alexa voice controls on Megablast. I say not worth it unless you use the Alexa voice controls very little to no sounds difference

Does someone have a Idea when the hyperboom Comes to the Netherlands?

I wouldn't get the Wonder booms because you can't use them in the app on party up mode which kind of terrible. I have the original megaboom, boom2 and boom3 I love party up mode. I like the design of the Wonder booms but no app support mean no go for me.

I have the miniboom and cannot figure out what I should upgrade to...the boom 3 or blast? How much better are they than the mini boom? Is the wonderboom comparable or better than the mini boom? My mini boom is still alive and kicking with great battery life. Maybe I'll wait until the next series of speakers to come out. I will definitely stick with UE especially with the ability to daisy chain wirelessly.

You can use 2 wonderbooms at the same time they don't have a app or nothing but look it up I've used 2 of them at the same time oh i started with 2 mini booms

From the UE WonderBoom2 page, under "Plays well with others": (Doesn’t connect with BOOM, MEGABOOM, BLAST, or MEGABLAST.)

For the soundtest, why 100%? They lose bass pass 70-80% for more volume.

I just recently bought the hyperboom and agree it definetly beats the jbl

@Koen 145 well the sound and bass is so much cleaner than the jbl when I compared them both in the store and when i had it in the garage on full blast it did not distort whatsoever

How to connect it to spotify

I purchased the Hyperboom but ended up returning it. I dont think it sounds very good. I heard another KZreadr describing it as "sound like its wrapped in a towel" and I think thats a perfect way of describing it. Sure the bass is pretty decent but it doesnt get very loud and it lacks clarity. My Harman/Kardon Onyx Studio 1 (the first) is basicly just as loud in terms of volume and it is not even half the size.

When my speaker is bigger than my sff pc XD....(hyperboom)
