Ha ha Ha! Thank you. There is a lot of ideas and "choreography" that goes into my playthroughs, if only the enemies would remember their damn spots! Lol! But yeah, I strive to make my videos as entertaining as possible. Comes with being a master player, and having patience. ALOT of patience. Yes. Mr.Q is a god! Ultimate has better running moves, and plays a little faster. Each character has twice the moves of legend and there are more of them. And yes, no health items because its Double Dragon! 😁

I play as both of them so often I've mastered both so it's a really tough question. Hmmm, well I like Billy cuz of the ability of him being able to lay a serious beat down on a single enemy but I like Jimmy's flashiness and ability to control the crowd more easily. So for those reasons I like both of them equally. They are the same yet they're so different and can create such different atmospheres for the where you want the game to look. As does with Jeff also.

nklopez56 dude i agree with you man its hard to choose for me too...two totally different characters although similar yet so unique both bad ass tho... hey do you prefer the way the ultra system works on this one? Or did you like figuring out each ultra individually like in legend? I kinda miss the way you started it in legend with the 360 motion and block but this one has a lot more freedom to do what ever you want guhhh both really solid games lol ok ok how bout this... controller or arcade stick for this game thats a better question

@@Efreno okay as far as Ultras go DEFINITELY UDD!! I mean don't get me wrong, LOTDD has cooler FX, Better Sound, and that clear cool voice from the 2013 release, but the inputs are horrifying. It took me 6 hours to master them. And if I'm not feeling well or my mind is not razor sharp focus on the game I'll drop combos. Nothing kills my mojo more than hearing that lockout voice. As far as controller goes I use a PS4 controller. I also use joy2key. It really really helps out with the Ki combo system. I also map some double button commands to the extra shoulder buttons. I mean the game is intended to control by six buttons. With a PS4 controller and Joy to key, I have an extra 12 buttons to make do whatever I want. It's the best way to go. I'm considering making a video tutorial on how to set up joy2key for just this game. But still unsure of that...

@@Efreno Thank you so much! Hey listen, Maximilian Dood is streaming a bunch of beat em' ups right NOW on twitch. I'm gonna go over to there and see If I can pull his attention to LOTDD and UDD. Unroolie is there and has been playing UDD demo some. You should come help. Mauri's dream is to have Max or someother big streamer to have a donation stream for his game. It could easly pay for 3 or 4 new enemys the Koji charges for. Thanks again for the sub!

Legend of the Double Dragon is complete. Ultimate Double Dragon is still in development and is at its second demo release right now. Check the description at the bottom for link to the site to download.

@@aweirdredtoad3637 But Kunio-kun was pure Japanese and perfectly-handled while Double Dragon got Westernized and poorly-handled. If I had the money budget and license: I would reboot the entire DD franchise, and make it play like a 2-player SHIH FU. With fleshed out stories and characters, accurate to the original games (except Billy & Jimmy can transform like in Western media).

So, Let Me See If I Get This Right: Billy Stopped Being A Dumbass, To Be A REALLY Cool Guy, Like Jimmy Is???

@@capofthink Its actually kinda hard to remember. I haven't seen it again since I was a kid, and even then, I barely remember it. I know its not as bad as other game-based movies. I know the first Mortal Kombat movie was good, the first 2 TMNT movies were excellent while the Mario Bros movie sucked. But for the DD movie, all I can say is I liked Mark Dacascos. Very underrated Martial Arts movie star.

It is the Creator's vision. There are many many influences into the game. Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Killer Instinct, Sonic Blast man, Fatal Fury, Power Rangers, Saturday night slam Masters, the list goes on. Legend of the Double Dragon's soundstyle was based 100% off kung fu movies from the 70s 80s and 90s. This is a fan's fan game, if that makes any sense.
