Ultimate Cold Steel Ranked Best to Worst List: Every Knife in My Collection Overview

You've asked for it. Every Cold Steel Knife I have owned or Reviewed ranked here in this video. 20 plus knives ranked from the best to the worst in list form. You'll see knives like the: SRK, Gang Axe, All Terrain Chopper, Kukri Machete, Special Forces Shovel, the Espada XL, The Hold Out, Spartan, Broken Skull, Kudu, Luzon, Colossus, Finn Wolf, Voyager, Bush Ranger, Ti Lite, Tuff Lite, AD-15, the Frenzy, Code 4 and more. I wax poetically about Lynn Thompson, touch on self defense, and chop and hack my way through the ultimate Cold Steel internet list. Sure are there are other lists, but do they have slo-mo, and massive amounts of chopping! These tactical knives are sure to make everyone in your house happy as you force them to watch this list over Christmas. And I apologize if these have gone up in price, I approximate what I paid for them. Furthermore if I left your favorite knife out- sorry dude you're a champ, and I like yours too.

I ordered a Code 4 after watching your video on it way back when. Two minutes after getting the knife, I attempted your one-handed lockback method of closing the knife and cut the SHIT outta my first two fingers, because I had them too far up on the handle. Huge knives were common, multiple-purpose tools when the only firearm carried was a rifle. Blades were up to 12 inches in length. Once the revolver became a commonly carried tool, knife blades decreased to about 6-7 inches in length. This information is according to one of the Blade Annuals (I believe) in the early to mid-90s.

Cold Steel understands the truth. That everything you thought was cool as a 14 year old is what's actually cool. Heavy metal, huge boobs, dinosaurs, guns, R-rated 80's action movies. Every man wants to EDC a Rajah II, but he denies himself satisfaction and joy for the flimsy social status of performative maturity.

I think you’d appreciate the AD10 and 4max because of their very very demko design profile’s and the smooth action they share with the AD15, although it’s more likely just those sneaky Teflon washers hidden by the shiny phosphor bronze washers. Also the Trailboss axe is an incredible value for its almost always on sale price of $21. It’s not outrageous in design or purpose but instead a really well made and functional tool. Unlike the POS kudu which I now have 3 of thanks to SMKW adding them to my order for free. I like to think that they really believe in the kudu and not that they’re sitting on a few hundred of them and haven’t sold a single one.

I love my Western W49 Bowie knife. I've had it since the early 80's. As for the loose guard on yours. Best thing I can tell you is to get a bottle of super glue with a really small tip, like for model making. and put a few drops between the blade and guard. I had to do the same thing with the guard on my Cold Steel Grosse Messer.

You didn't need to call me out directly when you said "Thanks hypothetical guy who doesn't like Cold Steel but will watch a 15-20 minute video about them" but I appreciate the shout-out! The Tuff lite is the only one I can see myself carrying. The Natchez Bowie's looked alright too. But just because I don't enjoy the murdered-out black asthetic and the oversized everything, doesn't mean you need to stop enjoying it. Thanks for making the video. P.S. A few years back I brought up lending you a Tora Blades khukuri but never followed through on that. I'd like to make good on that promise if you're still interested.

Hands down, the most hilarious knife video I've ever seen 🤣. Oh, but I do use bowie knives a lot for bushcraft/camping(don't have a Natchez bowie, or any cold steel knives as of yet, but I haven't ruled it out). So, I guess I'm one of THOSE dudes. I'm still badass, though, if girth doesn't matter

This was freaking hilarious dude. I got my first gold steel today a D 15 light at Midway USA for 50 bucks. I had to take some 2K paper to the scorpion lock where it was sharp and it turned it into a fidget monster . I like it a lot so I want to get another one I’m thinking the law man may be. You got your deal for $35. That’s a freaking amazing deal

I was in the army for 6 years between 2008 and 2014. I the amount of people that had ti-lite’s and carried them daily was ridiculous. They would try to claim that it was for self defense, thus revealing how little they know about using a knife for self defense.
